I am not so impressed by Snake here. Cloud still ended up at 42% on Squirtle and Leon despite a massive rally against him. Without it, he probably ends up at 46-47%. Squirtle + Leon is stronger than Squirtle + Pikachu. Snake really should break 50% here.

Holding Snake under 50% is impressive enough for me. Even with two of them, half the voters pick Pokemon over Snake.

I can't believe you Pokenerds are trying to put on blinders for this performance. Last round was more of a question mark but Snake's got close to 50% on what is essentially just POKEMON

And this LFF is brutal. Pokemon may not be one of the most insular fanbases, but this is a 50/50 split. Snake is looking right now like he'd get 57% or so on Pikachu/Squirtle 1v1. Better than the 55% Cloud looked like he'd get before the rally, but close enough that the match is debatable.

Honestly if both Pikachu and Squirtle are going to rally their asses off which seems to be happening now, anything better than 40% is a win for Snake considering he isn't getting one.

like... to be clear on this:

last match Mewtwo got 30,000 votes. we normally get around 50,000.
if Pokemon fans start rallying between themselves and blow up that way to get a similar performance and then the site catches on?
