Match CXVIII: (3) Draven vs. (11) Mewtwo vs. (1) Sephiroth Previous Round Draven 44.65% Link 44.02% Commander Shepard 11.34% Mewtwo 41.82% Sonic the Hedgehog 34.58% Bowser 23.60% Sephiroth 37.93% Kirby 33.65% Big Boss 28.42% Analysis I have to give Link a lot of credit as he was able to make Draven sweat quite a bit. Of course had this been round 2 Draven the match would not have been in question. This does bring an interesting issue of whether rally fatigue could be a factor. Voting on a random site for laughs can be fun, but eventually a lot of people are going to get bored, kind of like how joke characters become stale. The mods are also getting tired of all the rallies and were even deleting rally topics for a large portion of the match to the point where only disguised topics were able to last more than a few minutes. In a match that surprised a lot of the board by how easily he won Mewtwo is considered the best bet to defeat Draven this round. With the way Pokemon has performed in this contest I think most of us would take Mewtwo over Sephiroth and as we have seen Pokemon is capable of rallying. Of course the rallies are nowhere near as strong as Draven, even if the rally push is weaker this round than what he did against Link. Another problem for Mewtwo is Sephiroth is not going to take the role of Commander Shepard and roll over and die. Final Fantasy VII may be weaker this year, but they still have quite the fanbase and I see that the average voter will not overly care enough to defeat Draven or if they do some will think Sephiroth will have the better chance. Draven should be able to win this, like I have said before the only way he does not win is if the rallies decide not to show up. While the chance seems to be greater now I doubt the mods and rallying fatigue will be able to stop Draven. If
you rally Charizard now, it'll spill into Mewtwo's match to give him a
bit of a boost. Draven will still win but it might help against

made this contest what it is. He's the spice that makes everything
nice. He dramatically slayed the hero of the forums fair and square
adding a wonderful dark tone to the season finale. |

Even
though its still unlikely the entire contest has been a dream scenario
for Samus to eek out a win. Like , shes going to be in the finals and
shes going to have strong rallies. there are a 100 ways it could've
played out and this one is one of the most favorable for samus possible.

This character battle has already cemented itself as the worst character battle due to every close match ever (and some not so close matches) being decided by rallies. After such a promising first round, too! What
the...how is Mega Man actually challenging Charizard?!?!?! This entire
match makes no sense...even with Mega Man boosting due to the Smash
announcement, Charizard should be boosted from the version that got
rSFFed last round, and there's a freaking MMX character in the match! Mega Man even being closer to Charizard than to Zero, let alone being close enough to threaten Charizard, is F***ING WRONG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! --- RIP GrapefruitKing and Emporer_Kazbar. You will be missed. |

primary r/lol thread is getting upvote spammed (the hypocrisy is
hilarious) and the mods who were deleting those threads are long gone.
