Charizard
beating Samus is not completely out of the question after Pikachu beat
Sora. Samus is more challenging, but I think Red would fold more than
Blue. |

Zard would lose easily to Samus even without Red there. I don't think Red will even hurt him that much, just like I postulated prior to the Sora/Pikachu/Blue match, I believe that Pokemon is the most LFF resistant entity we have. Because their power base is broader than anything else's save Zelda, and for characters they are essentially #1 in terms of power base as Zelda only has 3 characters worth a s*** while Pokemon has like 8 elite or near elite entrants. Well,
the other key difference is that all three are Nintendo and it'll
probably be easier to shift all their natural strengths because of that.
It's not like the Nintendo fanbase could magically make Sora weaker,

So is anyone else think Mewtwo wins the contest at this point? Draven/Mewtwo/Sephiroth. If reddit threads and such are being deleted, then Mewtwo wins easily. He's dominated all of his matches. Snake and Samus win due to LFF. Final is Mewtwo/Snake/Samus. Mewtwo wins due to a plucky rally and Snake/Samus leeching each other by virtue of not being Pokemon. --- Black Turtle did a pretty good job. |

doubt LoL fans allow Draven to lose, and he's got so much wiggle room.
Link put up a valiant effort, but Draven still won despite less support
than he got in R2 - he's that insanely strong. His supporters hunger for
the title now and they've only had to wait a week since his match with

If you do the math it is almost impossible for Charizard to lose that match. The Mega Man/Zero overlap will be ridiculously high, almost all of Zero's votes will be leeched straight from MM. Snake
will overlap with Samus more than Samus overlaps with Mewtwo. Pokemon
has proven itself to be almost entirely immune to LFF, except when faced

Meh.
I think Seph and Cloud are probably about equal now and Mewtwo is
likely weaker than Squirtle based on how previous rounds have gone. I
think even with normal Pokemon sized rallies-- as the match actually
goes though I could see a frantic Mewtwo push to combat Reddit putting
him over Seph-- but assuming no Reddit rally it doesn't go into
overdrive and Seph wins by about as much as he beat Kirby by. --- No problem! This is a cute and pop genocide of love! |
Samus/Snake don't overlap much, if at all. But they're not Pokemon. Pokemon is basically a third entity to every poll. Snake and Samus overlap more by virtue of not being Pokemon. --- Black Turtle did a pretty good job. |
Sephiroth
may take second from Mewtwo but he will have a hard time taking first
even if Draven bombs. Mewtwo will have much higher rally power when

Look at how Phoenix is projected to thrash Bowser - it's extremely obvious Bowser and Sonic killed each other. And Sonic is probably the weakest NNer, so being weaker than him is not impressive. Snake/Samus overlapping enough for Mewtwo to win? I've said many times Pokemon is the most independent entity, and can boost in multi-ways from "non-Pokemon LFF", but come on. Very little chance Mewtwo finish anywhere but 3rd there. i mean do people really think Snake or Samus would only 60/40 Phoenix? And Snake/Samus overlap would really not be that significant. MGS and Nintendo are pretty independent from each other themselves. Also Snake and Samus are not FF7, they would not be easy to rally or bandwagon against. LeonhartFour posted...
