This is the worst Pokemon result yet. Like I can at least see why
people like the other bastards but Red is just another awful boring

So can we consider this Squall's worst performance in the Character Battle tournaments? Or has he done worse than this? On that note, if Mario was in this instead of Vivi, I think Squall would've had a shot at it. But since that's not the case, Vivi is giving him a bad beatdown. Given
the handicap, Vivi is doing tremendously well for himself. If Square
fans can take a page out of the Nintendo playbook and hammer Squall into
the teens, and if Vivi picks up a late night rally or two, he could
give Red a percentage scare. Shame that he's up against the most "refuse

was disappointed (though expected) to see Red in first, but seeing Vivi
way over Squall makes it worth it. Maybe Gamefaqs is finally realizing

Square
is (finally) learning to strategically abandon a little bit. Probably
too little, too late, but with a big enough push from Vivi he could make

don't think Vivi is actually stronger than Squall; I think it's another

So 5/9 finalists are going to be Pokemon related. Yikes. I guess this is what happens when Final Fantasy drops off a cliff in strength and Pokemon manages to dodge the stronger Nintendo entrants. yeah, Vivi's always been pretty good. He's beaten DK solidly twice. He
beat Altair in a day match without breaking a sweat. He would've gotten

Vivi's rally was overrated last round and I doubt Ganondorf LFFed Mario that much. I feel like in a rallyless 1v1 Vivi would easily clear 40% against Mario this year --- No problem! This is a cute and pop genocide of love! |

The only guaranteed "Pokemon killer" this contest was Link. Mewtwo nearly doubled Bowser for Pete's sake. I guess you can probably kill them off early by feeding the strongest ones to Link/Mario/Samus in R1 before they've had a chance to "evolve" throughout the course of a contest. You can also pit them against each other, but that plan essentially leaves you with a 50/50 choice in R1 as to which Pokemon will advance and dominate.
