Common Stats Topic Lingo Defined*~ SFF (Same Fanbase Factor) - Same Fanbase Factor is the theory that, if two contestants share a common fanbase, the weaker of the two options will underperform in a direct matchup. For instance, Link was expected to defeat Ganon with 65% of the vote in 2004, based on their 2003 values. Instead, Link collected near 88% of the vote. This is the best example of SFF we've ever seen. However take some SFF labels with a grain of salt, as many people will slap it onto any match that doesn't make perfect sense. Extrapolated Standings - The mathematical "strength" of a contestant that's determined based on their performance relative to the rest of the field. This number is typically based on the contest entrant's loss, but adjustments are sometimes made. See above for a watered down explanation for how the stats are calculated. --- POKEFEAR |

Squall
is down 9% (or almost a third of his vote). I'd consider Vivi the
favorite for second place right now. Cloud wasn't even down six full

Score-Brackets-% RightOmitted scores got it wrong. Strong but not quite universal support for Samus at the top. A few people here and there choose against her. Overall support is still very high and the casuals do a pretty good job as well. 5 people fell off the Top 49. First
couple of updates will give us an idea of whether Squall will get
second. He went down big against Missingno early last round, too. Still think he pulls it out unless people try to rally for Vivi. This is just "B8 loves FFIX" right now. --- "Hold on a minute! Yep, Vivi's got second. Vivi could conceivably
beat Red with a huge rallying push and if FF fans continue to abandon
Squall. Not sure what that would say for Red though since Vivi's so
