Sora
has surpassed Pika in USA. I hope Sora wins. We have too many Pokemon
in there and I would like a KH character there. Plus the semifinal match
would be too awesome. We would have Snake who is the 2nd strongest
character, Sora with his amazing day vote and Squirtle who will get

don't think Snake will be as easy to take down as Cloud regardless.
Brawl should let Snake SFF Squirtle a bit, and Cloud is an antivote

I'm
not entirely sure I buy Squirtle beating Snake, straight up. If Sora
makes it through, I think he overlaps more with Squirtle than Snake, and

Like even with rallies it's a lot harder to buy Squirtle > Snake than Squirtle > Cloud. You can't rule it out, obviously, but Snake is harder to rally against and gets less antivotes. Can't buy Zard over Samus, even if Red doesn't make it through. He's an in game tool. If there's one thing worse than draven drones it's people who legitimately want L block to win again because supporting him is "cool". It was funny in 2007 and we were all on board. The joke is old. He should not be allowed to progress any further and if Samus doesn't do it Charizard will certainly do it. These contests are becoming terrible now and not just because of draven but peopel who support this garbage. "rallies" There is only one up in /vp/ and it's the same topic ever since this match started And it's not alive because it's super active or something,it just takes it hours to purge in /vp/ So if you consider a topic that shows up only if you use the catalog or skip to the 5th page and bumped up once per a hour a "rally" then yes Pikachu got the longest rally ever |
These
contests are becoming terrible now and not just because of draven but

contest so it's a bit more low key but for real contest followers. that
way these pathetic jokes can't be rallied and go too far. That way we
can actually see strengths of characters on this site exclusively and

The contests aren't for us, we just follow them And it's fine to like L-Block more as a character than some of the crap that makes it into the contests. If you take L-Block's "character" as having a value as 0, ie, "no character", than anything with less than 0, ie, "bad character" is an inferior character to L-Block. Restricting
it to registered users will only make things worse from your point of
view. Have you seen what the early vote is like? As for this contest, this contest became a joke the moment SBAllen screwed Link out of his fairly won victory, and it deserves a joke winner. No winner at this point could possibly be legitimate- even if Snake or Samus somehow won. And out of these options, I like L-Block. Sheesh. He would put up a 45-48% performance on snake though due to the rallies but Snake would never lose that. Simply because of the Cloud antivote factor. Squirtle
can easily beat Snake. He should be even stronger next round and even
if the strength gap between Snake and Cloud is quite large, all it takes
is a bit bigger of a rally to close it. Sora won't fold like Leon did,

simply don't like them. And we don't like that there are so many of
them at roughly the same strength. Link almost always wins, but it's
not like there's 5-10 Zelda characters all near his level crushing
everything. So Link wins 6 matches a year and takes the championship- Zelda characters never take up half the spots in the final 8. Nor do FFVII characters, or anyone else. It's
normal and common for bandwagons and rallies to grow every round.
Snake isn't far above Cloud. It's doable. Don't know if it'll happen,

It's understandable, because as I've said before this topic is kind of the hub of people who dislike the series in general on this board. My issue is when it gets dressed up and becomes insulting. The "every pokemon fan thinks they're an underdog in every match" or whatever is the opposite of the truth, especially when you have KP telling me I have that attitude when I'm distinctly displaying to him the opposite. Like I said earlier - if you just say you don't like the series, don't like its fanbase, that's far more palatable and it being dressed up with this frustrating, passive-aggressive crap. And it is sad when you see people saying they would literally prefer Draven winning, after the hell Draven's fans created on b8. Rallies
are not that easily measurable. Pokemon could get a bigger rally next
round just by having more people online at the key voting times than
they did in the Cloud match. Snake can easily lose to Squirtle, the bandwagon & rally potential is just that potent. --- Welcome to the League of Downtime. |
Too
much paranoia about rallying. There are no effective rallies in this
match, has anyone even looked at the vote totals? Nobody cares about
pokemon outside the first and last hour of the poll. The Squirtle rally
being for a pokemon was coincidental because he was Cloud's opponent,
not because he's a pokemon. Nobody does persistent rallying for Pokemon
through an entire day, it doesn't happen. |
