Draven
a supporter right here. Would rather see draven win than some random
Pokemon. Draven has wrecked one division. Pokemon have wrecked all the

I've sort of been following the contest off and on - I paid attention for part of the first round, missed almost the entire second round, and coincidentally checked in again a few days before Link vs Draven - and I only saw the last five or six hours of that. said squirtle's the fourth strongest? judging by this performance he's
right up there with 2010 Charizard. if you assume that they have roughly
the same strength everything about this match makes sense. Cloud >
Squirtle 1 on 1 but it's a small difference - enough that Leon's few

until this match, Squirtle appeared to be the fourth strongest to me.
It's hard to know anything because Cloud is probably at best a midcarder

best part about this is you can get another ~1000 votes for squirtle
on showdown, another similar amount from serebii, and probably some off
pokebeach. |

Yes,
Leon is killing Cloud here. But if the votals fall a little more,

I
anticipated this "upset" and it will be my favorite result this contest
(unless Draven somehow loses), but it does feel hollow, even as a
Pokemon supporter. It's odd seeing the big names fall quietly with all
their histories now just... history. Everything also feels less hyped
and energized after Link/Draven. That was the big turning point. |

At
this point I wouldn't bat an eye if both Pikachu and Blue beat Sora.
Back in the day, Cloud could more than double Sora indirectly. Wouldn't
be surprised if they both fell a ton and he still could. In which
case, we could have 100% LFF splitting between Pikachu and Blue (which

Since
Sora's victory is almost guaranteed, the Pikachu v. Blue match up will
be interesting. It's the first time we have two Pokemon together, and
this'll tell us more on how strong Blue really is. |

This is honestly just pretty awful. I love Pokemon probably only slightly less than XIC does. But this is a joke and the final death knell for a contest that started off so promising. --- Die young and save yourself. Brace for the G's, and fast heel-toe work. |
