Common Stats Topic Lingo Defined*~ SFF (Same Fanbase Factor) - Same Fanbase Factor is the theory that, if two contestants share a common fanbase, the weaker of the two options will underperform in a direct matchup. For instance, Link was expected to defeat Ganon with 65% of the vote in 2004, based on their 2003 values. Instead, Link collected near 88% of the vote. This is the best example of SFF we've ever seen. However take some SFF labels with a grain of salt, as many people will slap it onto any match that doesn't make perfect sense. Extrapolated Standings - The mathematical "strength" of a contestant that's determined based on their performance relative to the rest of the field. This number is typically based on the contest entrant's loss, but adjustments are sometimes made. I
don't think I can support the Mewtwo rally. One, there may be a Kirby
in the next round, and I can't vote against him. Two, I can win the Guru
if Charizard makes the finals and the champion is someone nobody picked
(also Cloud can't make the Finals, but that's practically a given right
now; if Squirtle doesn't beat him, Snake certainly will). A Mewtwo vs.

and apparently had we actually managed to land a Bieber endorsement we
probably would've gotten a lot of anti-votes from One Direction fans. Or

Lettuce
Kefka used to be the only full-body picture of Kefka, so when Ceej was
in charge of picsmithing he would ONLY use Lettuce Kefka for round 1
because he was very strict about making it full-body only. This also
lead to Kane being put in a TV set as he had no full body pics. --- ~Zen |

Charizard's
path is a lock now that he's gotten past Zelda. Skate by a sabotaged
Mega Man, get blown out by Samus (even more of a lock since we know Red
will be there). Gauging a boost will only be for posterity if anything. Mewtwo will get a shot at Draven assuming Sephiroth holds on today, but you're liable to see just how more favorable Link's matchup was when that time comes. I am reading the last topic and I couldn't believe people were counting out Seph just because he didn't gain much overnight. It's unreal how bad most people misunderstand FF7's trends. Beating the whole contest is a secondary goal 2.Revenge votes.Revenge votes and again revenge votes. this is going to be so huge many people here don't grasp how much Draven is now considered as the "final boss" of this contest and whoever supported Link will now support everyone that faces Draven (unless they really hate Pokemon or something) There is also going to be some Draven support not going for him because the travesty in the last match. Unless someone is blind like Vlado,most people admit Link won this match 3.Rallying Pokemon is going to be easier than rallying Link and this time im going to make sure of it...now that Mewtwo vs Draven is really a thing and not "there is Sonic in the way" 4.EDIT (how did I forget this) Rally topics were deleted last time from the LoL subreddit Of course a certain one stayed but it was a soft rally..who knows,maybe next time they will fight harder against the rally? ...Of course,in order for this to work Sephiroth must win this,I don't think I can rally against Kirby |

from what we can tell now, when Mario was probably stronger). He got 43%

Wait wait. Pokemon is getting another hype release soon? WHY ARE THESE POKEMON SO LUCKY!!! Anyway, I'm astonished at how well Big Boss is holding up to the day vote. Most of Seph's gains are coming at Kirby's expense. Also, who's stronger - Mewtwo or Kirby? charmander6000 posted... Against most things not Zelda, SMB or Pokemon FF7 will tear it up during the day. What I mean is that due to their poor starts, FF7 never stops rising. You need a god tier ASV to stop that rise. Thus, it will always look like FF7 tears it up during the day. This is what happened in Seph vs Misno, and why Cloud didn't slow down from his overnight vote vs Samus. And at best Kirby will slow Seph's %age gains down here. Yeah
I found it pretty baffling earlier when people were talking about Kirby
trouncing Seph with the morning vote. It's like they have never seen a
VII char in a match before. Unless you're dominating a VII char from the get go then they're going to be the favourite to win purely because of just how woeful their starts are. --- Crucifying my Oracle average one match at a time |
