Yes reddit can rally with ridiculous proportions but in a 1v1 match..the gap between Gfaqs and Reddit wouldn't be that big..and Link virtually had most of Gfaqs support though sheapprd took sme out of him. So no matter how much Reddit tries to rally, If the whole of Gfaqs stood against him and with outside help, he can be defeated. The Draven rally thread was deleted at the start of the hiccups, it took full support behind link, outside help, almost double the votals and even against a crippled Draven having trouble getting his threads visible on Reddit he still lost. If Draven did to Link what he did to MMX he would have doubled him with ease. |

Even if Draven wins because of this. It would be one sad victory. If Link ends up losing by like less than 900 votes, I swear... Link is only cutting 70 votes every 5 minutes, which has the potential to be close at the end. But yeah...that was easily 1500 votes lost during that slowdown, as a conservative estimate based on what Link was doing. If we assume that 500 of those people are voting now, that's 1000 votes lost. Which could be HUGE depending on what things look like at 8pm EST, the time when night voting comes into play again.

Just woke up. If I'm honest, Sephiroth winning is the most surprising result for me. But it also helps Mewtwo's chances, so OK. Topics like that can only appear once or they get deleted. You blame rally topics dying down for draven being weak. Draven IS weak. If you rely on rallies for 80% of your strength, your pathetic and weak period. And the X/Ryu thing was different. Link is vastly stronger character than Megamn/Ryu. Fact is Link's "support" was just as legit as Draven and in a 1v1 the rallies wouldn't really propel draven that far. I would say Links support would have been greater on a Sunday. Also lets stop this notion that 100% reddit votes go to Draven. They don't. Hence why he did worse than last round. I know several LoL players over here, i would say 7 out of 10 would vote for draven instantly due to bandwagon and being a fanboy but the other 3 would vote for their favourite character of the poll. updates by nearly 200 there was no conceivable way I saw Draven winning
at that point. The DDOS to buy time for a new thread was such a

I don't believe a stronger character leech more votes than two strong characters Ryu and X must appeal to more people than just "Link" even if he is more popular This is very debateable and I don't think we can ever confirm it |

Shame Luigi and Kirby weren't switched. I have a feeling THE YEAR OF LUIGI would come true after all if they were! That said, this is probably good since it gives Mewtwo a fair shot at taking down Draven. This is a great performance from Kirby though. Seph is inching up again. I do think the /v/ rally is still having an
effect as he seems to go down when it's active. They usually don't have
enough traffic runoff to influence the poll that much so I wonder if

i know seph is not a particluarly well known for his day vote.. but it still obliterates most others... why would kirby have a huge advantage there? or has Sephiroth really become that terrible after being 2a for years. I'd say.. considering the snake and to an extent kirby love lately this should be considered a pretty strong showing... yes? --- If you're worried people are talking about you... you're probably right. |
