So Link finally gets the lead under 1000. Guess this pretty much confirms with a degree of certainty the downtime took his victory.

I would give Draven the slight edge if it came to a clutch. Like if the lower estimates for downtime are true.

But the clutch doesn't even happen if you estimate closer to 1500 or even 2000 votes for the downtime lost.

Draven was struggling to even get votes on Link during the downtime updates. Link looked to still be on his torrid cutting pace at least for 15 minutes after the downtime before Draven found another rally to reinvigorate his votes. Link most assuredly would have won.

Good lord.

It seemed more like Wes Draven DDOS'd the site, and also needed to buy time to get his machine running again.

And there was no notable rallies on Reddit to speak of when Draven out of nowhere went from going even with Shepard to getting 280-300 votes per update.
