Ignoring who the victor might be. This looks pretty bad for the contest health Before the match, people was saying that Draven would end the match with even 150.000 votes. That this match would have no less than 200.000 votes. I Myself predicted that it would have roughly 150.000 (75k for Draven, 55k for Link and 20k for Shepard) And yet, it only managed a meager 100.000 on a match with Rallyman aka Draven and Link being rallied everywhere, Facebook and Twitter included When you take those two out of the equation, totals for next matches will be really sad. Draven fans, ralliers and stuffers won't be there, they haven't been in the previous 2 rounds, and there will not be such huges rallies for the next battles. Also add that the board and part of the site might be pissed because Allen just let a DDoS slide and that the rallies have talked about that DDoS attack (Making external voters more wary of this contest) AND the fact that tomorrow is not a Holiday (Although here in Spain I'm still on holidays, but some of my family memberd don't) and the votals could end up being really depressing If Link keeps pulling this, this match might end with ~110k-115k votes, next matches I seriously doubt that they'll be able to reach even 75k |

really,
i'm just confused by people acting like something terrible was said in
there. we've said worse things about chicks in garbage cans or psycho
women with knives and laughed about it. yet saying that a guy isn't
doing his job right, saying he sucks, should retire, or the rest of
those tame insults is enough? i mean i understand that he was
frustrated that no matter the evidence he had he couldn't appease the
board, but that's a given. nothing is conclusive in either direction so
everyone will believe what they want to believe, it's all equally true. instead of focusing on things that were equally true, he should've realized that ultimately the source didn't matter as much as the result did. the result is that Link lost 90 minutes of his best time. Interesting tidbit about that match - Ali's trainer said Ali was refusing to come out for the 15th round and going to quit on his stool because he was done, but Frazier's corner stopped the fight just before this happened.
