wasn't around for 2002 either (except for Mario/Cloud- IIRC, I was
actually referred here by PlanetGamecube rallying), but I believe Samus
made a 2000 vote comeback on Sonic with the SNV and won by 34 votes.
CJay said the stuffing was minimal and stuffing for each side balanced

isn't 2002 anymore. We're all 10 years older (and should not be as
subject to ridiculous immature outbursts), and Bacon is a lot more
involved with us than CJayC ever was in these things. At this point, I
think that if Bacon says he thinks there was no rallying, then we should
just believe that he's checked it out. Does that mean he's going to be
right? Not necessarily, but if he can't find ironclad proof of cheating

Another big thing to point out is that the match start was delayed by three hours due to some glitch, but the next match started on time. A lot of people claimed that Samus was able to get off to an early lead (she was ahead before the Day Vote came in), because all of the Sonic fans had already gone to bed. Also, it was the first match that featured outside rallying, so people were upset about that and considered it cheating at the time. --- "What's the matter with bootblacking? long as the Draven stuffer will lay off for the next 3 hours and 16
minutes, I think Link's got a shot. His rallies are only going to
become more desperate and widespread across the internet as the clock
winds down on the poll. Frog even rallied by calling people on the

I will say this about the Allen thing as well. This is part of his job. He profits from this. He also depends on the community to be able to do this. So he kind of owes it to them to do a proper job, and not extending a poll that went down for 90 minutes would not be that. I am not bashing Allen, I'm just saying that there is a correct way to proceed here, and he has not done it.
