Yeah, this match stopped being legit a long time ago. I feel bad for Allen. Nothing he can really do here but disqualify Draven, but that would lead to a whole bunch of other issues. Poor guy just did this contest for us too....and now we're cursing him out. --- Drop it to the floor... |
I'd
estimate Link lost around 1200-1500 votes from the 90 minute downtime.
He was getting 1000/hr before that, and those lost hours were right at
the peak of both his day vote, and the biggest hours for Gamefaqs polls
generally after the beginning 2 hours. It looked like about 20% of the
votes were still getting through during the downtime. Normally he might

was definitely right about Link being desperately rallied when
threatened, though! I'll admit I never saw something quite like this.

did just notice on a google search of gamefaqs that there is a vgchartz
forum post coming up in the top position under news... It's talks about
the Ddos and is trying to rally Link. Based on Allen's post there was a
lot of traffic from google so maybe that is it? Either way the Draven 'rallies' will start again if this gets close... |

Link faces Snake, none of this rallying will happen. Link probably

You're probably leaving out stuff, like you randomly posted it in an unrelated topic or something stupid. Nope, it was in a topic about Planned Parenthood on board 408, a political board with no enforced topicality (and I didn't make the topic either). And I usually don't care about moderations because I know a lot of them are deserved and I was just skirting the rules (for example, I knew my comment yesterday saying we should gas Reddit users was probably gonna get modded, and it was). We
have seen the Character Battle's greatest of all time get shot after
shot after cheap shot thrown at him and he still has fight left in him. While odds of Link completing the comeback are slim at best, he deserves a standing ovation, and goes out like the true champion he is. Greatest of all time. |

I don't think so, honestly! The radically elevated vote totals in all of Link's losses seem to indicate a dogged resistance like no other. Link/Cloud
always draws the votes, regardless of who wins. In 2003, recall, Cloud
had beaten Link at votals pretty much every round- one of the signs
that predicted his victory. As for L-Block, I'd credit L-Block for the
elevated votals rather than Link. Link didn't even beat Cloud by all
