Everyone
has bad ideas. Ceej did the Villains Contest and once proposed a Quotes
Contest (though thankfully did not follow through with the latter). You
could make a zero-fodder 64 character 1v1 bracket at this point in
time. The problem would be not enough characters, not too much. I am not mistaken, Allen collects a paycheck for this, as it is his
job. I have a job. I am sure most of you do too. Ours may not involve
having ornery customers who let you know exactly what they think (as a
tax accountant, I hear it from clients a few times a year), but again,
he is getting paid to do this. Part of his job is to run this site, and
this contest, and uphold its rules. If he wants to come out and say
the contest was solely for our benefit, and not part of his job, then
fine, don't run anymore contests then. From what I can tell though, he
was pubbing this contest on reddit for a while, so it would not appear
it was solely for our benefit. Some of the comments and vitriol towards
him was excessive, but for the most part I agree that is he giving
politician answers. He's being noncommittal, and attesting to very
little. Mostly, all answers are equivocal and open to interpretation.
Love the contests, and this topic, but may have to retire from these

Which could also be 12 hour. Then 1v1 24 hour the rest of the way. That's what...64 days? I might have messed up my math. Someone can correct it. But anyway it wouldn't take too long. the stuffing aside, this turned out to be an all time classic. It just
makes me think the b8 of today, while more chill, will be incredibly
snarky and pessimistic towards any of the previous CJayC era close
matches and call bacon out for doing a crappy job preventing all of the
stuffing. |

I'm
done with characters unless fictionals are in anyway. Lets be honest,
we want link to win because LoL reddit scum. All this joke rallies and
joke voting for garbage like crapblock and missingno has ruined the
contest anyway. I remember when finishing in the leaderboards back in 05
and 06. When actual statistics and predictions got you to the top. Now
it's just a bunch of pokemon bandwagons and external sources messing up
the contest. And it's not even legit characters either. If Batman got
rallied by some comic book site then fair enough. He's an iconic
character that people fel passionate about. This character is literally 3
years old and is basically a joke for a popular MOBA game. He will be
