This match we should actually strongly complain to Allen. Draven/MMX/Ryu was ridiculous stuffing, but it didn't affect the match. Draven would have won that regardless. Link would be winning easily right now if not for the down time and the obvious Draven stuffing. This is actually going to change who gets money prizes. We shouldn't stand for it.

does eastern europe normally vote though (I don't actually know)

like a bunch of those countries have to have at least 100 votes to get those percentages and they're all hugely in favor of Draven

So rallying for Link now in the sites that Link got rallied in when the match started might have fresh results and a big amount of people that didn't vote yet

Working with more information does not mean he is working *intelligently* with that information. Lopen's analysis blows away anything Allen has. Again, Allen's main defense is Reddit referrals, which are easy to fake.

And again - just look at the damn poll before the DDOS attack. How can Draven go from that pathetic to 300 vote updates, when the rally topic on Reddit was more under the radar than ever?

He is, but how much of that information would be relevant?

He could be looking at IP addresses, cross referencing many different proxies and maybe matching it against previous contest history of cheating.

All three would be not helpful against a sophisticated attacker, which is what we're postulating here.

It's not that he's incompetent. Maybe the stuffer is just using really really high-tech methods, and Bacon doesn't want to admit that he can't detect them. Hell he might be afraid of legal action if admits foul play but doesn't do anything. I mean, Draven's and Link's numbers completely reversed a couple of hours ago, allegedly due to a Facebook rally there is no evidence of.

God since when was the world so bad at writing NPCs. Back in the old days you had consistency and people who were willing to put in the time to make them detailed and three dimensional. Now all you get are these cardboard cutouts of cartoon villains.

Allen just hasn't been very good at running contests in my estimation. He's the one that brought us multiways and a bunch of bad, rigged bracket setups. It hasn't made the contests without merit - after all, I'm still following them - but give me something like, even 2005 any day.

It's also just implausible to me that NONE of this is illegitimate, given what we've seen today. Perhaps not enough to change the result, but that's a separate issue.
