Even if Link comes through and wins Vivi's match is still better imhhho. I mean beating the corruption is cool but at its core it's still Link coming through in the clutch. I can only care about that so much. --- No problem! This is a cute and pop genocide of love! |

Link/Cloud
in later years are much, much closer to their closest competitors. Last
year Link/Cloud only outdrew Cloud/Snake by around 4000 votes. It's

Yeah,
Lopen has given us the statistical analysis to back it up. Allen has
only given us handwaving explanations. If he has more reason to believe
this is legit, he hasn't told us. Now, in Allen's defense, it's probably very hard for him to prove stuffing or a DDOS attack except through circumstantial evidence. That's the beauty of statistics. You can find a way to manipulate them to justify anything. See the x-stats! I'm not buying Lopen's analysis as word enough over Bacon, who actually has a better way of seeing what's going on. I'd agree with "Bacon can't strip votes because it's so shaky on how
many to take" but you don't actually have to be precise at this point
since the match is actually close. Just take a modest number from all
the suspicious locations and Link is probably winning easily. --- No problem! This is a cute and pop genocide of love! |

I wouldn't even care at that point. As far as I'm concerned, if Snake or someone else beats Draven, it's because the stuffer decided to let them. True, but Vivi/Mario was also very close and a Mario victory seemed inevitable until the last 3 updates or so. I don't think this match can be #1 unless Link pulls off the miracle...too many shenanigans that detracted from the excitement, rather than added to it. too much so long as he can continue 80-90 vote cuts. Of course, I have

His original analysis actually contradicted him on several stances he had (e.g. He thought there was stuffing in Chie vs Jak. did it with Crono in 2002. He subtracted enough to give Mario the win
without being able to confirm exactly how many votes Crono had stuffed,
other than that it was more than he removed. Snake
beating Draven in the finals wouldn't be the same as Link winning
today. It would have to mean Draven wasn't rallied like he was today
(which is viable), because otherwise Samus would be GameFAQs LFFing him
to death. It wouldn't make him a complete paper champion (beating Samus
isn't easy!), but it wouldn't be like beating Link. Even a Link in a

educated estimation, and simple logic-- there's no complicated x-stat
calculation or anything and if I was screwing with the numbers it'd be

with some additional analysis to try to distinguish between rallied and
