SubDeity posted... No way that explains these votes. We've seen forum threads get 7000 views and only produce 700 votes total. Draven must have sourced AT LEAST 1500 from somewhere. Along with the DDoS, that's why it looks so suspicious. No way everyone who looks in that thread is voting Draven. That's what this would take. No, his base without a rally is around 70, as seen in that table when the rally disappeared at around 12 hours in. Even the 140 updates were slightly suspicious, this IS cheating, no matter what Allen says. Yeah, if Draven wins the contest I'm done. I know I won't be alone either. Honestly, I hope that (not me, the people who help out with the contest as previously mentioned) might persuade Allen to actually do something, since nobody believes him and nobody is happy about this. According to a friend, LoL is crashing and a lot of people are getting DCed so it might explain Draven picking back up... Well there is probably some stuffing going on no matter what. |

Draven, and ALL of the ~20000 daily active LoL subreddit guys voted for
Draven, and ALL of those voters asked 1 friend to vote for Draven,

What's more likely?:-- 1.) A Draven supporter from a site notoriously known for hacking and DDoSing, DDoSed the site just as Link was making huge gains... or 2.) This constenst has been going on for 2 months,I think there was a 5 minutes downtime in a random mathc once..and that's all Now a 90 downtime in the most important match is a coincedence? I'm sorry, but if anyone thinks this is forum rallying, LoL servers crashing, or whatever, they are naive as f***. This is the most blatant cheating in history. Nothing is even close. That DDoS response is eye-rolling. That being said, while Lopen's numbers are extremely suspicious, if Bacon can't technologically prove the votes are stuffed, I don't know what he's supposed to do. You can't remove votes because they seem suspicious. You have to prove they're being stuffed. That also being said, if this is even within 1,000 or so votes at the end, the poll should definitely be rerun. Even if it was GameFAQS itself that ****ed up, so? The site's ****ed up before and poll's have been rerun, even Xenogears/Pokemon where a rerun wasn't even necessary. That also being said, as stupid as the DDoS explanation is if this latest surge for Draven keeps up it wouldn't have mattered. --- "What's the matter with bootblacking? We both like it very much!" contest actually had some fun matches like Vivi's upset, but all this
Draven/LoL/Reddit trash being allowed to pass is just sad. I don't even
really care much about the contests since I've called them meaningless
several times, but this one actually had some fun results until all the
Draven nonsense. Even then the Draven stuff did have some hilarity like

community might be too large to beat when the entirety of it is
rallying. And being that it's a PC game they're also probably the most
likely fanbase to vote stuff. Plus the site is down at the worst possible time and SB will likely do nothing about that or vote stuffing, and we know he intended to advertise GameFAQs on Reddit with this. With all that I don't really care about the character battle, not that it's mattered recently anyway. is popular on /v/ and has a generally neutral like across everywhere,
having him in between a Reddit fuelled Draven and a loathed Sephiroth
who's only popular on gamefaqs who be absolute ideal rallying
conditions. /b/ would get involved if Reddit were winning, it would be carnage. A lot more difficult to get numbers for Nintendo characters these days, no chance for Sephiroth. |
