Looks like Duck Hunt's record will finally be broken, 9 years later. Kind of loved that such an irrelevant match as Donkey Kong Vs. mean Draven seems to still be holding around 150 votes per update. We

Link is only cutting 70 votes every 5 minutes, which has the potential to be close at the end. Meaning if this is close and Allen doesn't DQ Draven, Draven will advance entirely because of a DDOS. don't mind Link not winning. He wins all the time. But not to freaking
Draven. Not to freaking Reddit. So, obviously, you turn to your
strongest horse in your race when it comes to situations like this, so
you rally behind Link because he can win. So long as Draven is out of

OK - here's something I never thought I'd say. Thank you Reddit. Without them this would have been one of the worst contests ever. Most of this contest was awful (in large part due to them). The majority of the rallying was terrible and detracted from the fun. But this Link match *made* the contest. Combined with the upsets like Vivi, this is now probably one of our two best contests along with 2K3. So yeah. The stupid rallying - along with ridiculous LFF setups - almost ruined this contest. But Draven doing what he did in round 2, then Link proceeding to not give a f*** and well on his way towards laughing off a 6,000 vote deficit like it was nothing, was just unreal. --- www.gamefaqscontests.com www.gamefaqscontests.com/gallery |

can't believe somebody seriously attacked the site over an internet
video game character match. Draven is looking pretty bad compared to R2
so now that things are hopefully not going to go down again Link should

In my experience, once you hit post the message will find a way regardless of what error or lag you're seeing, even if it seems like it shouldn't have. I'm way behind on catching up to this topic, and this probably was
mentioned already - but if that really was a DDOS attack, then it
strongly supports Lopen's analysis of mass stuffing in the X/Ryu match
(and overnight in this match). Because if someone (or multiple people) is capable of doing that, then no doubt they'd be capable of the massive stuffing too. DDoS attacks are very easy to do actually. Only takes one person with a powerful computer/server or a few likeminded people. always gets desperately rallied when threatened. It's part of his
intrinsic strength, and has been before reddit ever came into existence.
There's a reason why Cloud/Link 2k3 and L-Block/Link/Cloud/Snake 2k8
are such ridiculous votal matches, especially in the context of their
