I've been posting Draven votals along with the cuts to track him (yeah I know it's not strictly necessary) I think "Base Draven" is the guy pulling those 50-60 updates that Shepard could take. and Washington are the last 2 US states to favor Draven. Well it's
past 9 AM here, and we're going to change that. In Washington, very

Draven
can act as a lightning rod for anti-Link and anti-establishment votes
now that he's attained notoriety in a way that he couldn't as a random
piece of Round 1 fodder, so he's likely going to remain at a level above

Eh, keep in mind that it's a rally for one of the naturally weakest characters in the contest. Chie was beating Draven with about 63% before the rallies started. The five distinct forms of Draven: Base Draven - Gets beaten up by Chie Satonaka. Survivalist Draven - For used to defeat Jak and Chie comfortably, but unconvincingly. Ultimate Draven - seen only when he faced MMX and Ryu. Perhaps the strongests entity of all time. Empowered Draven - form taken in the early stages of his fight against Link. Clearly weaker than Ultimate but capable of defeating Link. Exhausted Draven - after fighting Link for 12 hours he took on this form. Ultimate
Link may not have anything on Ultimate Draven. But the rest of the

What is this nonsense. Redditers trying to shut down a Link comeback by DDOS attacking the site??? XIII_rocks posted... As much as I am rooting for Link here and consider him the "good guy" in this equation and all that... It's the way it happened. Link looked dead in the water less *two hours* into the X/Ryu match. Simultaneously, this made Link the strongest he's ever been - over the course of those two hours, Link went from "Link 2013" the weakest Link of all time, to the strongest Link of all time (due to galvanizing Gamefaqs as our only possible savior from a foreign invasion). Link was down 1000 votes just over an hour into the match. He was down 6000 votes. People bailed on Link after 1 hour. Almost EVERYONE bailed on him during the night vote. Link didn't give a f***. But it didn't seem like it would happen. This is simply not true. I went over last night why I didn't expect Draven's rally to have infinite hit points. Again - they had a concerted effort of unparalled proportions going *before* the match. They launched a nuke at us - yet Link *lived*. This was clear by the 2nd update! 6 minutes into the match! And there was no reason logically to believe that rally could keep the momentum. They built it up so high pre-match. It couldn't stay that way. So, I've had some time to think, you know, since it takes about 10 minutes to post or load a page or anything. I was probably going to say this was the greatest match of all time upon a Link victory. But there was always going to be that doubt in the back of my mind. Because there was something Mario/Crono II had that this lacked. The drama. The controversy of the poll closing. Something I thought could never be replicated these days. I was wrong. Now we have this. Now there are no more pieces lacking. The greatest match of all time has arrived.
