It's better just not to give involved with that kind of stuff. It's pretty unethical and completely against the rules of reddit, not to mention it adds fuel to the fire in creating a "reddit vs GameFAQs" atmosphere.

Good showing from Link. Arguably the strongest Link we've ever seen or close to it.

...which still means Snake is screwed in the finals unless the guy who looks on track to beat Rallied Draven handily somehow reverts to his 60% on Raiden and SFFed Yoshi strength from last round. Well, at least Snake won't get doubled in this scenario.

With the rally deleted, the number of votes per update has also dropped off. We just got less than 300 votes on the last update for the first time since the early morning vote. The drop off also hurts the possible chance that this match breaks 100000 votes, but I guess it's still possible.

I agree with all of this except it being underhanded. It's how Reddit works. You downvote stuff you don't like. Just like this is how this contest works. You vote for the character you like. If downvoting their threads is underhanded, them voting in our polls is underhanded.

But like I said, I agree with the rest of what you said. It's dumb.

To be fair, there was no indication that Draven's rally would disappear. I think we mostly agreed that IF it did then Link could swing 10,000 votes. But it didn't seem like it would happen.

Reddit didn't ruin anything. They just sent a lot of traffic over. Lots of places have done this and will do this, and it's completely within the rules. They didn't break our rules, so you shouldn't break theirs.

So is this "Base Draven" then? If so, Base Draven has gotten a hell of a lot stronger than he was in the beginning. He should be getting his ass kicked by Shepard and be pulling in 12% updates, after all. Maybe once the effects of the main rally truly dies off, we'll actually start seeing stuff like that.

As much as I am rooting for Link here and consider him the "good guy" in this equation and all that...

I don't want to sound "ungrateful" or anything but I'm sorry, if Link wins here and then wins the contest his position in these contests is wholly untenable.
