Hard to believe Draven just got 150 votes in that update and was CUT by 60 votes.


Again, this is by far the strongest few hours for Link, until 1-2 in the afternoon when most people are done waking up....but goddamn.

I remember last night when I said I liked the way things looked for Link even though he was over 1K behind already, and everybody jumped on me. I said Link could be down 7K by morning and win going away.

Only HM and xp seemed to keep the faith - despite logic being heavily on the side of Link making a Herculean effort at a comeback.

Well, the match ain't over yet and Draven can still get rallied, but Link is the favorite here.

This morning vote is just unstoppable. It's like Draven was facing child Link all night then morning comes, Link picks up the master sword and stuff gets done

After that second update last night I thought Link had a great shot, but was the underdog.

By the time he was down 1K and everybody was bailing, I truly believed Link had the match won.

This is sheer madness. I had Draven/Jak/Chie down as a top 30/40 all-time match because of the sheer numbers involved - stastically the greatest all-time comeback, I believe - but this just makes that look pathetic... IF Link pulls it off.

As of now, Link has cut 700 votes in the past hour...which is roughly what Draven did overnight.


Not to be too pessimistic, but remember that Draven didn't stall out for 6-7 hours. Not sure if Link can keep this pace up that long, it's sure to drop off.

That being said, he doesn't HAVE to because he still has the full 24 hours. Even cutting 2500 votes by 2pm would be massive, because that's 10 hours to make up the rest...which even if he dropped to half his peak morning vote strength, would still put him 1000 votes ahead.


The wild card is Draven's counter-rally. Should be interesting to see when that goes up.

Why would he be the favourite when he did the same 1000 vote cut against L-Block at the same time and still lost by 7000?
Rallies can always start again when they need to and Link is exiting his best time 4800 behind, you'd want to be a serious optimist to think the situation looks favourable for him.
