Once Link starts cutting, it's gonna be great seeing the Draven damage control. I mean, there's still no Guarantee this day vote is gonna be enough, but goddamn is it an exciting prospect.

Well I think Link can pull like ~200 vote updates at peak.

Which means 50-100 vote cuts assuming Draven doesn't drop more. Course he could also gain too, even though it wouldn't really make sense.

Yeah, we're not likely to see "True" pre-rally Draven even if the rally just vanished from the face of the Earth.

Luster's right that Draven should be operating at a higher level than he was back then. I mean, it'd still be pretty bad IMO, but...

Yep. Draven's intake dropped and Link scored a cut. That's probably going to be the story for the next hour.

So, are people going to keep saying 4 vote cuts aren't going to be enough every time he makes a small cut? The full morning vote is going to be fun.

He's only stalling now. Link needs to, you know, actually start making huge cuts soon.

Link's not going to accomplish s***. Draven's not going to drop off enough for Link to actually do anything meaningful besides maybe cut off a few hundred votes before Draven beasts again and takes it all back (and then some).

Draven is up 60 votes so far this hour. I don't think Link can win this hour, but I was never expecting that. Now, the next hour- maybe next hour. It's looking likely at this point, though past experience is that the day vote can have annoyingly frequent false starts.

It'll be about an hour I reckon before Link stops stalling and goes in for the attack. And then it'll increase for about 2 - 3 hours, peak for a few hours, and then start to drop. But this is a completely uneducated guess as well.

If you believe the rally is legitimate and not largely fueled by cheating Link coming back is feasible

Considering so many people call it a rally with no strings attached this topic should be brimming with believe!

As much as I would love to see the LoL menace purged and Link come out victorious, there's only one character that has actually pulled off a vote swing even remotely comparable to this before.

And of course, he's the opposition. Obviously, if the rallies pick up steam again, then Link is done period.

Nonetheless, I will still root for him, but it is a true longshot.

From the "Draven's votals first, lead second" standpoint this I'm a bit ambivalent here.

Draven's still holding that 140-150 area, but Link's starting to move in on it.

the stirrings of the day vote?

THOSE are the two trillion dollar questions Zelda. Will Link's cuts be enough? I personally think Link is capable of getting the votes needed. I don't know if he will, but I think it's possible, and as such I'm gonna hold onto that possibility until it's ripped from my cold, dead, fanboy dreams' fingers!

At this rate, Draven is gonna peak at like, 6200 - 6300 before Link starts cutting away. If that's the case, Link would only need to start making 35 vote cuts starting at around 9. I'm sure he'll pass that number at some point.

The current rally topic is at 6th overall on the front page of the LoL subreddit. If it falls off the first page, getting it back on the first page is going to be very tough. The LoL subreddit will probably react by posting a new rally topic, because it's much easier to get newer topics onto the front page of the LoL subreddit compared to older topics.
