I don't understand this concept that people think Draven's rally has
infinite hit points, when they've already put forth the most concerted
effort they could possibly put forth, and the rally is already showing
signs of dying off a bit. I must again emphasize - overnight will be baaaad for Link. The worst is yet to come. But he will be far from dead until the sun comes up. xp1337 posted... rally might have 'infinite hit points' simply because the LoL fanbase

Traffic that was enough to dwarf GameFAQs traffic in his round 2 match(not that it'll get to that point here) Saying that the rally will die is like saying people will stop visiting Reddit. People will keep going there over time and end up voting Draven in the same way that people will keep coming to GameFAQs --- A refusal of praise is a desire to be praised twice. |

In fact if the Draven rally never happened, and Mario or Samus made the finals, I'm confident Snake would have won. People on Gamefaqs were rebelling against the LAW. Link was the weakest and most vulnerable he'd ever been, and Snake is at the peak of his powers. He was already within shooting distance of 2010 Link, likely a stronger Link than 2013 Link. And that's without Mario/Samus leeching, or the MGS5 hype boost. But an outside force challenge the LAW is something Gamefaqs is rebelling against, now. The upvotes/points was absurd. Like I said back then, they were about to absolutely launch a nuke on us. The daytime rally might continue but it's almost impossible for it to sustain the momentum that it began with. Just because that momentum was so goddamn huge and pre-planned. I think the thread was at like...800 points? Before the match began. It's now at 1,000. Going by previous matches, the hours that bring in the lowest votes are the 6 A.M. and 7 A.M. hours. Link should start going back up right around then. It's always darkest right before the dawn, as they say. --- "Stay with me until the end. Please." "Not until the end. Always." |
