Bah, well he still went down in percentage. But even if Draven "runs out of votes" during 24 hours, how big does he lead get for Link to be unable to overcome it?

I have no idea what that number is, but considering where Draven's natural strength is and where Link is, there's some room to work. Link probably can't overcome thousands of votes or anything, but you know. It's all about that Zelda morning vote. Unbeatable!

Shepard for Noble Nine breaker

At this rate, Shepard might beat X's percentage on Draven.

Despite f***ing Link in the poll stealing his votes!

Truly the best there is. Snake over Link? I don't think so!

Well, I did say before the match that despite Link 2013 being the weakest Link ever, that for this match he would be the strongest Link we've ever seen.

And that certainly seems to be the case so far.

I think the idea is that when vote totals drop during the dead hours, Draven will still be getting a consistent intake and Link will drop.

Perhaps, and those hours may be good for Draven...

But man, when the day vote hits...remember Zelda is GOD TIER with the day vote.

Link sure as hell ain't running out of votes in the daytime.

Yes, he will. We pull in maybe 55K votes in a 24-hour match. This isn't from a natural increase in GameFAQs voters. This is all rallies. Link's god-tier day vote will be nothing compared to the rallied votes that are being pulled in. That's what you're missing. This isn't a return to our massive voterbase of the good old days. This is our same voterbase, with a massive outside force swamping it.

Depends on what is meant when one says that he'll "run out of votes." We're talking about a character whose base strength is below Jak and Chie. Six hours of Draven accumulating votes at his base strength would be plenty of time for Link to come back from just about any deficit.

Course, I don't see that happening.

Realistically? If Draven keeps getting legit votes, minus stuffing? Probably 1000-1200. I don't see Link coming back from down 1500.

FOOD FOR THOUGHT: r/all was a huge boon to Draven in R2. It is a huge boon for him here. However, keeping something close to the front of r/all for 24 hours is not something that happens often.

I predict Link will really start tearing him a new one in the twilight of the match.

No. What you're missing is that a lot of those rallied votes are clearly going to Link - look at these vote totals.

If Link wasn't gaining anything from the rally, Link would be getting CRUSHED right now.

If the rally dies down...or if it gets tossed to a lower profile Reddit page...

Considering Link's base strength, Draven's base strength, and the ridiculous vote totals for this match, if Draven runs out of votes a 10,000+ vote comeback is not impossible for Link.

That sounds absurd, but it really isn't.

If Draven is only up 1500 come the day vote, he could lose. Link cut 1000 off of L-Block before people realized the rally wouldn't work, and the smaller version of that also happened in 2003 against Cloud. He also has this entire site behind him, for whatever reason.

I'd say more like 5000 to be safe.

uggghhh I just realized that a Link win means the contest is Snake's. Some LoL will stick around just to anti-vote Link. That, coupled with a Nintendo third entrant (Samus, Mega Man, Charizard, or Pokemon Trainer Red would all do the job) should be enough.

I'd rather have Draven win here than witness that.
