so much for that. I was about to write on something in light of
Squirtle beating Dante while Charizard loses to Zelda, but oh well! Just like Tidus before her, this chick just can't hold through and actually score her first major upset. At least Yuna did lol. dunno, I always root for my bracket first, and I do so as long as I
have a shot at the Guru. I'm not going to win the contest (some savvy
Draven backer will), but every single person in the Guru has Link making
the finals, so Draven/Link is all but irrelevant. The two biggest matches left are Kirby/Sephiroth and Squirtle/Cloud. Kirby is my big upset and I need it to happen, and I'll be rooting for my bracket against Cloud because, once again, EVERYONE has him winning. I guess the good takeaway here is that Charizard sucks enough to need a
rally! Zelda probably cruises 1v1, too - all the more reason to bring

road ends in the semis because Pokemon Trainer Red is all but
guaranteed to be there with him. The two Pokemon characters will lose

Yeah,
Pokemon is pretty much the poster boy of rallies. That's why I pick it
in every close match and keep getting them right! Except for Missingno,
because I felt it was just too weak to keep up with Squall - the match
has to be close enough for the rallying to overcome the difference, and
if it could barely beat Tidus, that was a tall order. Charizard's base
strength is only very slightly below Zelda's. --- We are living our lives Abound with so much information |

If
Zelda has the raw power and SFF chops to beat Bowser, then this isn't
even a "fraudulent" result. Everyone knew Charizard's 47% against Mario
was inflated; I don't think anyone sincerely took that as the Dragon's
base, intrinsic strength. He got the job done and he's still a big
favorite next match, and he's now beaten (assuming this result holds) a
near-elite from the Mario and Zelda series. If anyone here wants to take
him to lose to a non-Nintendo near elite in the next contest, then all I

Pokemon has already had multiple ridiculous rallies this very contest. Missingno could barely beat Tidus
without frentic rallying pushes. It pushed again like crazy against
Squall, staving off what would have been an Ulti-style blowout
otherwise. The hugely elevated votals of those matches makes what was
already pretty evident obvious. This match, too. In a total SFF match, where votals are usually really depressed, we're, what? Two thousand votes ahead of yesterday's night match? Zelda needed to be winning by more to overcome this part of Pokemon's intrinsic strength.
