/vp/ annoys me and I really wish that Pokemon fans were at least something like those LoL fans I can assure you that at least 50% of the people who voted for Draven doesn't even like him,but they voted because he represnts LoL And the vp comments about Charizard? insane hate that I have no idea where it's coming from Although I don't care what they say(about voting for Zelda and that nobody likes Charizard) because 30 minutes after the vp rally was posted,Charizard average votes rose by like 40 But still it annoys me im part of the same fanbase |

and if anyone needs a refresher of how bad Crono's day vote is - in
Sonic/Crono, a match Sonic won with 50.77%, during the height of the day
vote he was pulling down 53-54% hours against Crono. The difference between Crono's night and day vote is unreal. A bonus match could mean less rallying since the result doesn't matter. Also there's definitely no bracket/expert challenge votes. It could actually be more legitimate than a legitimate contest match. People
don't post in rally threads to say they agree with the rally. They just
go and vote. We have a term 'vocal minority' for a reason. Charizard's
big rallies bailed it out hard against what would have been a

Blue's uninspiring performance on Nathan Drake, as well as Charizard
doing about everything he could to disappoint his backers short of
actually losing, does anyone else get the feeling that Pokémon might be

Pokemon
isn't going to get shut out like Zelda did in 2004. Zelda could (and
should) have beaten Charizard to make that a remote possibility, but

Blue
did a fine job against Drake and tripled another Nintendo character in
the process. Pokemon can only "collapse" if Red and/or Charizard fail in
their enormously advantageous R3 positions. The other characters -
Squirtle and Mewtwo - weren't even expected to make it this far
pre-contest, let alone win. Pikachu and Blue are in a situation where

wouldn't call 'zard > Mega Man a lock.
if you buy there being some rSFF here then you'd also run the
possibility of Mega Man doing it. Zelda series might be the best at it,
but Zelda herself hasn't been capable of it over the stronger
characters. if there's some badass character overlap between 'zard and
Zero it'll hurt him. if there's some quasi-Nintendo vote for Mega Man
over 'zard, that'll hurt him. 'zard's totally the favorite though. i just wouldn't consider anything a lock in this contest if there's something resembling a plausible defense. especially with a performance like that today. --- "Maybe it's a tentacle, molesting the planet itself. - Aschen Brodel. |

I guess it's underwhelming if you expected Mario to 60-40 Crono like I did, but...what happened to that fabled "old Square boost"? More surprising is that Mario is 60-40'ing someone he once almost lost to, and making X look about identical in strength to Mega Man classic. If you assume that Mario isn't SFFing him (since Mario SFFing a character he almost lost to once makes no sense), this confirms that X is weaker than Mega Man. I know you asked for an indirect ranking, but I just find it difficult to consider Mario > Samus - even though Samus remains a f***ing beast and Mario lost to Vivi. It'd be pretty awesome if the Square 3 were the bottom 3, but I'm not sure I could imagine taking Sonic > Cloud in my wildest dreams. Well,
you yourself made the claim that the Sonic crew could easily be part of
the Nintendo family after Knuckles came uncomfortably close to
Catherine (presumably forced down there by Samus's SFF power). If it's
possible for the Sonic crew, why not the Mega Man crew? Mega Man,
Proto-Man, Wily, X, and Zero all made their names on the NES/SNES. Apart
from Marvel vs. Capcom, they've all been practically invisible for the
average GameFAQs voter since then. As far as I'm concerned, X is
hurting Mario here, and considering what Ganondorf's presence led to, X
might be hurting Mario substantially. This is practically
