this may be a case of hindsight, I, in all my Zelda fanboyism, may have
picked Zelda here had I figured DK would have been the third entrant.
It's Lightning's presumed presence that so easily tipped the scales in
zard's favor. No way would I take him to drop a match against two pretty

can't underestimate the psychological effect it might have on voters to

Zelda's
simply not *that* good - her contest history year in and year out puts
her at the lower threshold of the near-elites. Also this is her being

votes go to mostly Zelda. Pokemon has proven in the past that while it
overlaps with Nintendo, it doesn't overlap nearly as badly as other
Nintendo entities do. It's really hard for me to buy Animal LFF, would
that seriously be a thing? EDIT: By 'mostly' I mean something like 55-45, maybe 60-40, but yeah. --- Black Turtle did a pretty good job. |

even
if WW HD and LttP2 to a lesser extent are helping Zelda out, Charizard
is going from a guy who 60-40'd L Block, almost got 55% on Bowser, and
didn't let Mario get 54% on him, to... losing handily to Zelda. and it's
not like the notable Pokemon has been weak all contest either. those
40,000 extra people we lost from 2010 is really showing its head here...
the crowd left voting is making it look like Zelda really is rSFF'ing
