- I think Celda is fine. Zelda doesn't get votes on design, or being in

think all this proves is that you really, really don't f*** with Zelda
if you are a non-Zelda Nintendo entrant. Charizard's performance against

I think Celda looks great. Adds to her appeal really, her art in the other games isn't as nice. Especially in OOT |

blowing out complete weaklings? Going almost 50/50 with zelda doesnt make him a fraud. Bandwagoned Zard got 54% or whatever on bowser. This is perfectly reasonbale pre bandwagon zard strength. peopls expectations of him were ridiculous. |

think Zelda is just being underrated here. She's close in relation to
Link, and is likely one of the toughest Nintendo opponents. |

Zelda
has another generic Nintendo icon in the poll. If you think WW art
hurts her, there's that too. Charizard has brackets and momentum. He has

You
can't really call this a Charizard "fold." Remember that Zelda can also
very possibly defeat the Luigi/Bowser/Yoshi trio. There's nothing that
really argues against it. KP, this is a pretty big overreaction from
you, I think. Pokemon has dominated this contest. Not Charizard is
getting 52/48'd by Zelda in a pure SFF match, and it's time to wonder
how many Pokemon have been overrated all along? Doesn't make sense.
They've torched through practically everything. If the Pokemon are
overrated, then everything sans Draven is overrated too... oh wait we've

far as Toon Zelda goes, I don't think it's a big negative in her
corner, just not her optimal look. It's like Link - WW Link probably

our options are the LAW is letting Zelda rSFF Charizard, DK is hurting
Charizard more than he's hurting Zelda (ANIMAL LFF), or Charizard's just

I thought it was going to be a 50-50 match back when I thought
Lightning was going to be here and Zelda would get a decent pic. With
changes in the latter two though, I thought Charizard was the heavy
favorite. Could just be that both of those things actually weren't huge factors --- A refusal of praise is a desire to be praised twice. |
Charizard losing to the Luigi/Bowser/Yoshi trio would've been disappointing as well, considering his pre-contest expectations. Did people honestly expected Charizard to beat the trio?
