This
match makes me want to see Luigi vs Squall. Based on Ammy it would be
extremely close! There's no reason to think Ammy has increased since
then and there is a lot of reason to think Luigi has boosted. Luigi
could be one of the strongest characters on this site. Of course Mario

Because Red did better on Sissel than Mewtwo did on Zero in R1. It's freeform so Red's going to get at least one sprite pic. Zidane isn't just going to roll over and die either. |
So: -Vincent weakened almost beyond belief and/or got screwed by Vincent Vega. -Mario loses to an Old/(or at least oldish!) Square guy out of nowhere and not even his clutch saves him. -Directly after the previous match, Squall is cutting Missingno. up good, though it's too early to call the match, after Missingno. nearly lost last round. -Pikachu may have won because of LFF but is probably itself doomed by Pokemon LFF next round. Crono might have been eliminated, but holy crap, all his biggest enemies are feeling the burn! I'm blaming all these strange events on Crono now. --- [NO BARKLEY NO PEACE] |

Normally I might say that it's a tossup, but I think a good number of extra people are going to side with Vivi next round. I wonder if a Final Fantasy character can get bandwagon'd. I mean that's never happened before right? But if Pokemon/joke type bandwagon power extends to Vivi, he could well beat Squall (assuming Squall wins this match). Despite the FF LFF I don't think Red is strong enough to take advantage even if Vivi and Squall are both there. I mean FF8 and FF9 should have significant LFF, but not crushing LFF. If Mizno hadn't evolved between rounds he'd be getting 60-40'd. Good show by Ammy. Looks like MvC3 had an impact. I'll keep that in mind when the games contest comes around. I think her fanbase is pretty independent of the bigger two here - Capcom vs. Nintendo vs. Square, and she didn't look like suffering SFF against Luigi in 2010. --- We are living our lives Abound with so much information |

you guys seriously thinking that the protagonist of Pokemon RBY is
going to lose a match to two FF characters after seeing Mewtwo, Squirtle
and Pikachu all overperform in round 2? After Red put up 70% in round
1? Go by the stats all you want, but there's no way I can see Red losing that battle. |

know, I may be overthinking this but I think I discovered M's weakness:
FF characters. It lost to Sephiroth, it barely beat Tidus, and if
things keep up like this, Squall could possibly beat it as well. I know that's only 3 characters, but you know what? Just based on it's performance on those 3 characters from the same universe, I think M.'s weakness may have been exposed. --- BFC: 2492-6375-2047 |
