A refusal of praise is a desire to be praised twice.

Mario/Crono has already had massive amounts of rallying, so that would be okay too. Somehow two highly rallied matches both ended up at 50.05/49.95.

I think Mario/Crono 2002-3 represents Kanzari's dream of what the contest should look like. Unfortunately Draven/X/Ryu is probably more normal, and Mario/Crono is lightning striking the same place twice.

Based on votals, Vivi's probably getting 600 or so extra votes on Mario.

It'd put Mario at about 47%, Vivi at 32%, and Ganon at 21%.

Excluding the fact that this is obviously not natural trends at all, how are the trends supposed to favor Vivi going forward? He's only winning in europe while North America is solidly behind Mario, and in a few hours europe is going to sleep...

Ganondorf is a heck of a lot stronger than Ness, though. And Ness is much more easily SFFed.

As a HUGE Mario fan (I vote him over ANYBODY besides Luigi), this is still f***ing awesome. Massive shake-up, and the best part is that it's VIVI of all people. Vivi is f***ing awesome, and of course this happens while I'm replaying FF9.

I hope Vivi pulls off the upset!

Also, if your goal is to set up a series of favorable matches for L-Block to reach the finals, then you don't want to have Vivi/Missingno/Red next round because the 2 Pokemon characters will leech each other, allowing Vivi to advance again. Having Squall in place of Missingno allows Red to advance because of Square LFF, setting up L-Block/Red/Charizard in the semifinals and allowing L-Block to get past Charizard.

It's okay, Vivi's got 2%+ of natural built in GameFAQs percentage gain from the trends. As long as he's gotten less than that from rallying, or there will be more rallying, he'll be alright.

Let's not forget that in 08 Samus easily beat Vincent with Ganon in the poll and Ganon sucked enough to lose to Gordon Freeman.

If Samus can impact Ganon that bad then Mario should be crushing Ganon far worse than he is.

There is no master plan, I made a thread on /v/ before this match asking who people wanted to see win it and vivi was unanimous. There's no hidden intent. /v/ will pick somebody in the final to tackle Draven depending on whos there.

If Vivi can do this to Mario, imagine what Laughing Kefka will do to Snake!
