Auron's
doing fine relative to Ezio... so this looks to be L-Block holding on
to a disproportionate amount of votes like it did in 2007 and 2008 to a
lesser extent. It's very hard to gauge how much it's holding
onto, but it's another sliver of doubt introduced into what should be a
gimme for Squall. There's no 'SFF' here, save the 'SFF' between non-joke
characters, so Amaterasu's habit of not folding may end up being

Yeah,
I really doubt Amaterasu's that much stronger than Ezio, so if
Missingno gets a set amount of votes, that percentage has to come from

Neither
Auron nor Tifa is going to do jack against Samus. Auron v Tifa for
second place is more interesting than seeing how 'respectably' Samus

L-Block can get the arbitrary amount of percent he needs in order to get

Auron
does have an advantage against Tifa in that he certainly has a lot less
in common with Samus. It's unlikely that will be decisive though
because the SFF is likely to split one way or another in a big way.
We've had only two Square SFF matches where the outcome was probably
close enough to change it if you ran it on another day - Vincent/Squall
and Auron/Squall (Cloud/Sephiroth obviously turned out to be an outlier,

Tifa/Auron
is a great, no-lose opportunity for Tifa really. If she loses, it's
like 'eh, no one really believes she was the strongest Square
character'. If she beats Auron comfortably, she can safely lay claim to

Auron's
in a much better position than most people you've seen in a close match
against a joke because he's actually managed to snag the lead. It's
diminishing now, but if he's able to put some steam behind it again the
fervor will collapse and Block's artificially inflated strength will
fizzle into a cakewalk. He's still got his killer SNV to look forward to
in order to if he needs a bit of help to brute force it, though
obviously the longer it takes the more likely he'll lose to a last

Not sure how safe I'd feel about that! 300 might look prohibitive to the L-Block rally even though I think if they really tried 25 would be in their range.
