I'm tempted to throw in the towel on Sonic if Sonic characters fold this much
in the presence of Nintendo. It ain't like Bowser should be far off
what Kirby scored on him in 2010, and Mewtwo is not gonna give a damn
about the others. Consider it Charizard's warmup for killing Mario and

ZSS
was unfamiliar to a lot of people in 2006. That Brawl trailer was
enough to boost Snake, but it probably wasn't enough to get everyone to

So
what are we saying with Pokemon? It seems like people give it the
benefit of all Nintendo matches and SFF matches, so is it even, as far
as the contests go, a 'Nintendo' thing or just 'Pokemon,' sort of its

But
the thing with Sonic is that if he's truly a "Nintendo" character now,
than as a Noble 9er, the face of a huge franchise, and Mario's freakin'
rival, he SHOULD be strong enough to SFF Nintendo characters outright,
and it didn't seem like he did that with Kirby. If Sonic does the same
to Bowser and finishes with a 55/45 split, Mewtwo could reap the

Sonic is the exception! THE EXCEPTION Regardless, there's a big difference between Link and Samus, and Bowser and Mewtwo. It's not like Bowser's held up like a champ to good Nintendo characters either. Remember that Mewtwo put up a really good number on him in 2007 simply because Toad was in the poll. Pokemon
is clearly Nintendo - it's severely hurt other Nintendo entities in the
past. It just... resists SFF more than any other Ninty entity out

I doubt Sonic would fold to any Nintendo character outside of Link, Mario and Samus. We've seen him beat guys like Ganondorf, Kirby and Luigi before. Ezio/L-Block's
an interesting one. Ezio beat Tails by roughly the same margin that
Kratos did in 2010, and Kratos outperformed L-Block on the Zard pretty
heavily. But he's sharing the poll with Auron, a fellow male badass,
which might let L get back in. BUT, jokes have been looking poor all

Yeah,
the issue isn't really Sonic folding. It's Mewtwo being the most
independent of the three, and Sonic and Bowser NOT folding to each

Yeah, Samus has likely stayed constant (nobody played Other M so no deboost) while Cloud has tanked. Samus should have this even in a 24 hour match.
