That's the problem, it's very difficult to rally for Square RPGs because the fanbase is quite divided and snapping at each other half of the time. Square RPGs will never have really good rallying power (I know about CT's shenanigans) because the fanbase just isn't cohesive enough. Basically, if this contest becomes about rallying, Square is screwed.

First Fox faces Blue with Wolf LFFing Fox to a loss.

Now Crono faces Pikachu with Magus LFFing Crono to a loss.

These two scenarios happening within the first two rounds of a contest with 243 characters shows pretty awful bracket construction. I wouldn't go so far as to call it a deliberate bias towards Pokemon characters, but it's a pretty gross coincidence that the two most egregious examples of LFF in the early rounds both benefited Pokemon. The growing sense of POKEFEAR makes me even more glad Draven is doing what he's doing.

P.S. I'm willing to accept the argument that Fox wouldn't have beaten Blue 1v1 since you can make the (mediocre) argument that a more than negligible amount of Wolf's vote could go to Blue for the snarky villain factor, but I doubt anything less than 95% of Magus' votes would go to Crono.

You're entitled to your opinion, but it's still wrong, and your lack of an argument belies that. I should note that not once has the picture imbalance in any match *not* benefited me or my bracket, so I feel fairly confident in my estimations.

If people want to move on to another topic of conversation that's more than fine, but I'm going to tell it like it is concerning what's happening here.

I will agree that Crono didn't exactly get the best of his three pictures, but it's still blatantly him.

That is an awesome Pikachu picture that stands out from the bunch, but you had to know that going in that Pikachu has loads more pictures than CT.

Of course that's obviously Crono. Pikachu has an advantage, but Crono didn't get sabotaged like Vincent did. I'm not saying the picture is determining this match at all - I'm saying it sealed the deal.
