also know there's no one to blame but SBAllen and the picsmiths (myself
included; I actually wanted to make a Vinnie pic but got lazy), but
hopefully this leads to everyone admitting that Mewtwo should have been

Only
a 40 vote gain for Squirtle that time. Slowing down a little bit, but
it seems like Squirtle should be able to build up a large enough lead to

There are probably a good handful of Pokemon entrants that all have around the same strength because they all represent the enormously popular and nostalgic RBY generation. Final Fantasy has relatively clear tiers. Zelda has extremely clear tiers. Same with Mario. Squirtle Blastoise Charizard Pikachu Snorlax Gyarados Articuno Zapdos Mewtwo Mew I don't think we can ever conceivably put this group in a tier. None of them is the "hero" or the "villain" or the "comic relief NPC that everyone loves." They're all just beloved Pokemon that are one and the same with RBY. And
Pokemon is among my favorites, but I don't vote for every Pokemon in
the world because of it. That's a pretty weird mentality to me,
especially considering how much everyone here has been complaining about

Squirtle
beating Cloud would be all kinds of hilarious. It's a shame only the
RBY Pokemon are strong, but it's to be expected I guess. I wanted to get
other characters into the contest who aren't from Pokemon, but they
either didn't make it or already lost. RIP Chie, Yu, Yuri Lowell, etc. I
think there are probably 10 or so characters left I like in this

Squirtle looking so good, should try the other starters Charmander and

Can you imagine how ripped off Snake could get in the doomsday scenario? Cloud loses to Squirtle, costs Snake a chance to beat him down, probably decisively. Crono loses to Pikachu, ensuring Snake doesn't even get a Noble Niner to beat in that match. Have Charizard win to the finals and he doesn't get one period. Lugia
is an entrant that only got in because of a guru choice mistake that
was later rescinded. He got 60% in his first match and broke 30% on
Cloud. That's a flop? --- Black Turtle did a pretty good job. |

yeah, Jigglypuff is a decent anti-hivemind argument. she has Smash and a huge anime role and she still sucked. Squirtle could be as high as the #2 pokemon, though I wouldn't personally take him there. no one should be surprised that he has strength. --- Leafs / Raptors / Blue Jays / TFC / Argos / Tottenham We'll get 'em next year. |

Ridley nearly broke 30% on Cloud, and he's probably even weakened since 2010 so yes, being around Ridley level is a flop |

Gary Oak. I dont see Mewtwo or Pikachu getting a bandwagon but SQUIRTLE

I don't particularly like all these Pokemon in the contest, but Squirtle is kind of a tough sell to take the fall for it. Whether I like it or not, the RBY starters (I guess count Charizard in here) + Pikachu and Mewtwo have legitimate strength. We should just leave it there! nostalgia is all RBY-era, though. The cards, the cartoons, the toys -
all that stuff was at its height in the late 90s, and RBY was the

They're a group, they're a team, they fight for you. Just as Dante is built to exterminate fodder, the Pokemon are built for homowhatever. To that point, I still think we might see strength disparity regarding the actual trainers. I still fear for Red against Wrex. don't always vote Pokemon, but I have voted for most of them this
contest. I usually vote them if they're against characters I don't know
or like or have upset potential. I like Zidane more than Squirtle, but I

Just
because 'they're Pokemon' doesn't mean you have to vote for all of
them, all the time! These voting patterns are so 'drone'-ish that they
put Link's to shame. I'm not sure I'll ever be able to complain about
