funny thing is a lot of the same people that are crapping all over
Draven (and his voters) being a personality-less man from a group of
over 100 champions from a game with an obnoxiously large user base are
voting for a personality-less animal from a group of over 500
quasi-animals from a game with an obnoxiously large user base. Draven is 10 times the character of almost any Pokemon. --- I pwn you all! |

I'm
not a fan of the Pokemon games, but I enjoyed the anime and like many
of the originals' designs. Broadly, the ones I most like do well
(Pikachu, Charizard, Mewtwo and now Squirtle) so I quite enjoy their

It's
not really even the Pokemon thing... it's the confirmation that a huge
majority of people are so RBY biased that any other Pokemon (i.e. Lugia)
is much, much weaker. Sucks to know that is true for the voters in

what an amazing contest for Pokemon. Squirtle beating Dante, Mewtwo
beating Vincent/Phoenix, Blue beating Fox. Still big matches to come
with Charizard and Pikachu as well but at the moment Pokemon seem to be
clutching everything. |

I'm
hoping this is the match that finally gets people off the baseless
Dante support train. Just because he can beat Laharl-like fodder worse
than the Pokemon doesn't mean he'll beat the Pokemon. Dante is like the
biggest fodder-crusher ever, but the ONLY time he's done it against the
big boys was when he beat Master Chief in 2008, and Chief was dealing
with the biggest come-down (for a legit entrant) in contest history that
