Kirby beating Crash that bad doesn't mean much for his chances against Sephiroth. Most people knew that Crash would get disproportionally crushed here. Wouldn't be surprised if quite a few people took Elizabeth over him for that very reason despite thinking she was trash

IMO, to have a chance at being called a midcarder, you either have to beat another midcarder in a fair fight or put up a good enough percentage on a near-elite or Noble Niner that you can't be denied. I for one don't consider Raiden to be a midcarder yet! Best he's done so far is beaten a Link-SFFed Yoshi and finished ahead of Yuna in the RR vote-ins.

IIRC someone said that Raiden wasn't fodder before the match with Link and Yoshi. I'm pretty sure that eating the a** end of SFFed by against someone under consideration for the fodder line makes you guaranteed to be fodder yourself.

Omitted scores got it wrong.

Support was divided for this one even among the top tiers. Big Boss winning keeps the last -10 (92 points) alive. The -16s (86 points) and -17s (85 points) showed strong support for Big Boss. The support quickly fades as prediction percentage falls into the 20s. It actually rises back to the high 30s again for some reason before fading away.

If the fodder line used to be at around 22% on BL and current Link is around 47% of BL, then 27% of a slightly-SFFed Link could conceivably be borderline fodder.

Which just lets us ask, does the fodder line move with Link or is based on BL.

Hilarious thought: At the end of this contest, everyone except for Jak and Chie will be below the Draven-based fodder line. Maybe Link can also avoid it, but unlikely.
