Max lead is 238, which occurred on three different updates: 7:21, 7:56, and 8:02. Third all-time, but since we keep the records for 1v1s and non-1v1s separate, it's still got a comfortable cushion for a #1 spot as the non-1v1 record is 399 in Tidus-Missingno earlier this contest. --- RIP GrapefruitKing and Emporer_Kazbar. I wanted to ask everyone for their opinions because I feel lost about tonight's match. On the one hand, I have a hard time seeing Crash doing worse relative to Kirby, yet I have a similarly hard time seeing Elizabeth lose to Crash. Alucard/Bayonetta is another good bank candidate, but Bayo is my girl and I'll be risking it on her. Plus: - Both Konami - Both night-based characters on GameFAQs - Both originally appeared on the NES but didn't get their big games until the PS1 The similarities between Snake and Alucard are kinda funny. sat on his L-shaped throne atop the Fortress of Victory, looking
extremely bored. Only 2 others had ever put real fear in his heart.
One of them had been turned to stone and made into the chair on which he
was sitting. The other was currently sweeping the floors of his
kitchen. His top general Mario was kneeling in front of him, making a report on the current positions of the Nintendo army. They were being overrun everywhere by a mysterious new horde of enemies. Link hardly heard a word. It didn't matter. He knew he would win. Again. The grand door to the throne room burst open. A madman with two axes entered. Link: Who dares approach the divine presence of my radiance? The axeman said nothing and walked forward, weapon raised, without a hint of a bow. Link: Guards, destroy him. Mega Man X and Ryu moved to intercept the new threat. A blast from X's arm cannon and a hadouken from Ryu had precisely zero effect on him. Then X and Ryu both burst into white-hot flame. The axeman hurled an axe across the room directly at Link. Link rolled his eyes and raised his little finger to block it. His eyes widened in shock when the axe cleanly severed the finger. The axeman threw his other axe at Link. A blue forcefield burst to life in front of the king, but the axe went straight through the shield, and straight through his heart. Link gasped and fell at the foot of his throne. Those gathered in the audience chamber looked on in stunned disbelief. Most of them pinched themselves to try to wake up from the dream. Finally, they saw Link's spirit rise from his body, and fly off into the distance, to be reincarnated again. Draven seated himself upon the throne. A moment later, Link appeared in the doorway. Behind him, outside, an inferno raged, roasting to death a large part of Draven's army. Link: For me, it has been 17 years since you killed me. For you, a minute. Match XC: (3) Elizabeth vs. (4) Kirby vs. (12) Crash Bandicoot Previous Round Elizabeth 41.45% Poison 33.09% Thrall 25.46% Kirby 46.44% Terra Branford 36.55% Princess Peach 17.01% Crash Bandicoot 42.59% Wheatley 36.76% Tommy Vercetti 20.65% Analysis Kirby has an excellent chance at finishing with a higher percentage; Terra would have no issue easily winning over Elizabeth and Crash. Peach should also win, but she was SFF last round and would likely lose in that form, regardless I would take Terra/SFF Peach over these two opponents. While my expectations for Elizabeth were low she was still able to look quite bad. Letting Poison perform so well says very little about your strength and after watching the other Bioshock characters my opinion has not changed. Add the fact that Mike Haggar was crushed by Jill and things keep looking down for Elizabeth. Crash was able to get his first win since 2002. While it is difficult to judge how strong Wheatley is I think Crash should be able to take second. Spyro was able to show his first round strength was not just because he was the most recognizable character and I expect something similar from Crash. Still even if Crash went back to his old strength I still think he will be able to take second. I kind of hoped Kirby was given a more interesting path; maybe he will repeat his 2008 performance against Sephiroth, without Cloud too. don't think Crash will get Pac-man factored that badly. I think all the
drama surrounding how he got snubbed from PASBR has shown that there
are people who legitimately like him and he doesn't get votes purely on
recognition. I guess it's against Sephiroth but Spyro didn't completely
die in the face of a more recognizable character. Also, after Big Daddy
and Booker's performances, it seems likely that our initial impression
