People really need to stop moaning and complaining about cheating and stuffing and understand the situation.

This is a potential mega rally. Like I said a few topics back, the LoL subreddit has 334,302 SUBSCRIBERS. If even 10% of the subreddit decided to vote for Draven, which really might be an underestimate considering how early it is and that there's currently almost 9000 people viewing the LoL subreddit, that's OVER THIRTY THOUSAND VOTES.

Seriously, stop whining all sanctimoniously that the contest is ruined and all that. More traffic to GameFAQs is a good thing considering how bad the votals have been this year. Who cares if it's Draven or L-Block.

I swear people have so much irrational hate for LoL that it turns them into pathetic pre-teens.

My beef with this is that this entire contest is no longer decided by the voters of GameFAQs. It's decided by Reddit.

I think I'm more amused over all the people raging about Draven than I am about the damage to the match itself. Last round, I put up an unholy ****-storm about Draven and the regulars came in and basically spit on me for it. Now those same people are the ones pissing and whining about Draven in the second round when the same stuff happens, just because the characters happen to be stronger and more popular.

I'll be happy if SB pops in and calls stuffing and nixes 90% of Draven's votes, but the sheer amount of hypocrisy I've seen on this board tonight has me grinning from ear to ear.

Since that's clearly not what's going on here, I'm not sure why people would still be interested. What would be the point of even making a bracket? You are aware that making a bracket and trying to predict things is the entire premise of this contest, right?

It does seem a little weird that the entire fanbase did not participate one iota in the Teemo match. Even if some would have participated to vote for L-Block, we'd have at least sensed it in a votals spike. There was nothing; it was whisper quiet for 12 hours.

Link isn't "guaranteed" to win, at least not in the way Draven now is. Many people thought Snake or Cloud stood some sort of chance, and Cloud legitimately beat him in the past.

This isn't "legitimate" in that same way and means pretty much nothing.

Anyway, my own take on this is that I never really cared who won. I always enjoyed this because of the stats and possible shifts going on.

I was always anti-rally because those just ruined all that. That was what was fun to me. I've picked up some other things along the way because of it, like backing Crono and Link but it was mostly the stats.

Most people call that anti-fun for some asinine reason, but whatever, this match is what it is. Expert Challenge is still around and thankfully this can't touch Crono/Pikachu which has basically been my most anticipated match. I was looking forward to Link/Snake (or Cloud)/Mario too but that's looking like it's gone, so meh.

My only actual legit complaint (LoL fans being terrible isn't legit, I admit this) is he's facing Link too early. If he wins that match, the contest is over two rounds early and there isn't much else to get hyped for.

Draven vs Mario is way more hype than Draven vs. Link to me. Intuitively, yes, Link's stronger, but Mario is Mario. He's the kryptonite of rallies because he's too respected. Why can't he pull this off, in theory?

I legitimately don't believe that you believe this.

If Link goes down it's over. And based on this Link's demise is near inevitable!

Why not? I want Draven to win this. I love Mario more. I would love it if Mario won the contest because he's too respected and too emblematic of gaming to lose to any upstart who tries to challenge what he means to the industry. I haven't BS'd anybody about anything related to Draven so far. Why would you think this is a lie of all things?

I mean I could get behind Draven doing well if he wasn't doing THIS well. He's nearly doubling friggin Mega Man X after 50 minutes of rallying. It just makes the rest of the contest completely pointless. He now cant have a debatable match. He's going to make Link look like Chie and then crush Snake with 70% in the final.

This really is the most boring way Draven could have won.

If he beat MMX in a relatively close match it would show that the rally has increased tremendously but have left tons of doubt for whether it would grow large enough to beat Link.

Instead, we all now know that Link is going to get murdered weeks in advance.

If Draven can lose, it has to be Link or some totally bizarre abandonment where he stops getting rallied.
