Can we have some all-time top 10 lists?

They were lost on my old computer.

If I ever do re-create them should I combine the day, night and 24 hour matches or have them separated?

Just combine everything.

No, they should definitely be separated, comparing 12 hour to 24 hour makes little sense. Plus if they're separated initially it's much easier to combine them later.

Using the updated vote total data for the poll maps, I can now create an updated trend chart for Marisa's match. The vote totals for each character at the start of each hour were obtained by viewing the source code of this page:

http://www.gamefaqs.com/poll/map?id=5207

I also used that to figure out each character's vote totals at 12:06 AM, which is what I used for the board vote in my updated trend chart.

Time | Vivi | Jensen | Marisa | Votes
0:05 | 56.25% | 23.53% | 20.22% | 816
1:00 | 57.78% | 23.08% | 19.14% | 4853
2:00 | 61.84% | 23.72% | 14.44% | 2833
3:00 | 61.58% | 25.50% | 12.92% | 2090
4:00 | 62.85% | 25.40% | 11.74% | 1669
5:00 | 61.86% | 25.68% | 12.47% | 1476
6:00 | 60.89% | 23.66% | 15.45% | 1327
7:00 | 63.57% | 21.95% | 14.48% | 1312
8:00 | 63.54% | 23.93% | 12.53% | 1429
9:00 | 64.42% | 22.45% | 13.13% | 1630
10:00 | 65.91% | 22.73% | 11.36% | 1883
11:00 | 65.12% | 24.40% | 10.49% | 1955
12:00 | 64.46% | 24.83% | 10.71% | 1933

Also, the number of stuffed votes for each hour of the match:

1:00 | 208
2:00 | 117
3:00 | 0
4:00 | 0
5:00 | 0
6:00 | 52
7:00 | 312
8:00 | 166
9:00 | 290
10:00 | 280
11:00 | 330
12:00 | 240

For the second hour of the match, I had to estimate the number of removed votes since there were some votes were removed during that hour. The 117 votes for the second hour is based on an estimate of 325 votes removed during the early part of the match.

Huh, checked the updated vote map for Vivi's match. Marisa still got a ridiculous percentage in China. Cirno is even worse.

But Reimu isn't; she got third there. Something's almost certainly still screwy if Cirno can octuple Tifa and Reimu loses to Barret.

Luster, any idea what China's minimum possible number of votes are in those matches and what the approximate usual China numbers are for day matches and night matches?

See, I'm trying to figure out what this match implies about Rikku/? Block, but I gave up on this. There's too many intangible factors here at play to adequately judge. You have two blocks facing off against one human character. You have a character in Claptrap that could have possibly boosted given how significant a role he plays in Borderlands 2. And you have a character in WCC whose strength could have faded once its meme started getting played out a year or two ago.

Night matches - Usually between 14 and 30 votes per match.
Day matches - Usually between 9 and 18 votes per match.

When I asked Bacon to fix the poll maps for Marisa's match and to investigate China for vote stuffing in Cirno's match, this is what I got from him:

Message From GameFAQs on 08/15/2013

The poll maps are updated with the removed votes - we won't be looking into any other vote removals, since they would not impact the result of the battle and any remaining stuffed votes are very nominal.

0 points so far thanks to first place +3 and then -3 for second and third place
If Claptrao finish second I finally get +6 but this is so close he might bomb it
And tommorow I believe RDR guy will suck and easy +6 but everything can happen and he might be considered a hidden beast that sadly got matched with Zelda
At least DK>Falco and Riku>Nier are locks

Yeah I'm at 3 matches in a row scoring 0. And had a -6 because of Wrex, so I've been stuck at 287 points for a while now. I'm also worried that ?-block might drop the ball after Missingno barely scraped by Tidus.

Boko losing at the last second made me cringe. Gonna need to get really lucky in round 2, but there's some tough picks to make there.

Also, forget Rikku, at this point I'm questioning ? Block's ability to beat Lyndis.

At first I thought her last contest appearance was after VP2 but apparently not. It was like, just a few weeks before it was out.

Actually, even the PSP port was only like 40 days old by that point. I doubt many people played it yet.either.

I think for all practical purposes, her 2006 performance was running almost solely off of the limited print PS1 game

We're getting even closer until the morning vote gets into full swing here and Claptrap has a 6% lead on Lenneth in the US. Almost a 3% lead in Canada, so I think the trends are going to work against her. She wasn't able to come back fast enough and build up a decent lead for herself.

I won't deny a stronger Lenneth here, but she's still going 50/50 with Claptrap. That's better, but The Boss would flat out murder either of those characters. Heck, you've got a good argument for picking either of the characters she just 60/40'd this year over Lenneth/Claptrap.

Heavy finished well above Claptrap last contest, for what it's worth.

Also, I think someone pointed out that Leon Kennedy's proportion to Dante in my 2010 adjusted stats is exactly the same was it was in the 2008 stats. That should come as no surprise considering that's what I used to adjust Leon!

Also, forget Rikku, at this point I'm questioning ? Block's ability to beat Lyndis.

Oh good, I'm not the only one wondering about this.

I fully expect Lyndis to be weak (has she done anything since FE7 aside from I think being an assist in Brawl?), but then I also don't see ? Block having any strength at all, especially if people hate blocks after this match

Hey, one vote lead for Claptrap. Doesn't feel that thrilling since it's not 10 minutes before the match end this time.

Yes. People aren't calling Zero or Mega Man inanimate objects, and Claptrap's as much of a character as them.

Yes, but there's a difference between looking human and looking like a box. To an outsider, Claptrap doesn't look like a character.

Updated trend chart for Leon to look at:

http://www.gamefaqs.com/boards/8-gamefaqs-contests/66995039/754796204

I had to wait a while to make that trend chart as it took longer than I thought for Bacon to respond to my feedback ticket about fixing the poll map for Marisa's match. So now I have a trend chart with the stuffed votes removed.
