Eh,
I think Jill is just benefiting from being the most legit, most
long-time (even though Haggar is an older character), and most respected
character here. Red Bird is all casual and Haggar, despite doing well
for himself by proving he's not terrible fodder, is simply not strong
enough to keep ol' Jilly V from propelling. I doubt she's any stronger
than she was last time (she's DLC-only in MvC3 and is represented by her
less popular RE5 model anyway). It's just that Kratos is a lot weaker
than five years ago and should get smacked around. No way in hell does

Big enough to be ported to consoles. I completely forgot about Revelations. You're right - it may not have been the best selling games, but it was ported a lot, it was one of the most high-profile games early in the 3DS's life, and it thrust Jill back into the spotlight. It was the first RE in which she was the lead or co-lead since 2002. In light of all that, she definitely could be stronger than last time. in any serious manner, no. Not for first at least. A bunch of people
took him for second but mostly on the grounds that Haggar would suck. And yeah yo without Revelations she would be riding a wave of nostalgia and MVC3 DLC. But the Revelations HD port just hit consoles three months ago and it kept the 3DS library afloat pretty much on its own for a while there. Kratos Aurion is our most powerful Tales of entrant historically and should benefit the most from any supposed boost.
