The problem with Meta Knight is that we haven't been able to get a clean read on him because he keeps getting put into LFF situations.

And yeah, while I think Missingno still has a chance at Squall, depending on whether having a third with decent strength ends up actually helping, this performance definitely sets Squall as the favorite. Then again, Missingno was nothing but close matches last contest, from Yoshi to Sephiroth. If anyone could go from going even with vote-stuffed Tidus to Squall, it'd be Missingno.

But chances are Missingno's going to get beat cleanly by Squall, and may even end up being closer to Ama than him.

True. Best I can think of is use his proportion to Peach way back and just forget about it until we get a better read. Took us awhile to get one on Fox too.

I wouldn't consider Tidus one of the most-screwed characters, considering he usually gets out of Round 1. There's only so far a character of his strength can get without lucky bracket placement (or vote-stuffing). Plus it's not like he hasn't had his share of embarrassing performances.

Yeah Squall will also be working with a semblance of the DSV by the time we roll back around to his match. Not encouraging for the glitch.

Squall is also favored in Europe to proportions that are remarkable even by Final Fantasy standards. Auron won the United States in his loss to Squall, but Squall just brutalized him in Europe.

Also, Tidus and Fox have to be the two unluckiest characters WRT bracket placement.

Eh... Fox a bit moreso. Tidus has had a decent number of winnable matches that he dropped (not counting this, which is more like a Samus/Tifa affair in how unexpected it was). He hasn't really won a good once since Shadow.

Fox keeps getting SFF blasted or just outright crippled by his own team member. Fox/Blue/Something Neutral is a match with the potential to be as close as this one if Bacon doesn't screw that up.

When was the last time Fox DIDN'T get blasted by SFF?

Last contest. Snake/Fox.

Unless you want to argue Snake SFFed him somehow, Fox is actually a near-elite, and Blue is going to run the table en route to the finals.

We've never seen Pikachu with another Pokemon entity worth a damn. Could be that he completely folds to anything intra-fanbase, and Blue is able to turn it into an affair where he can keep competitive with Sora. Sora ends up losing due to any KH3 buzz having quickly dissipated by then and the fact that his relevant games are almost a decade old at this point.

It's hard to get the exact numbers on Squall/Auron since the maps don't show percentages by continent anymore, but Squall had at least 54-55% in Europe.

Blue folds Pikachu like Fox folded Wolf

Sora deboosts because KH hype fades

why does this make so much sense

EDIT: Bonus points, if Pikachu folds Crono ends up looking like such garbage Shadow the Hedgehog is projected to beat him. looks too good man
