The
only reason for Banjo to be as strong as Crash/Spyro is that his games
are generally more fondly looked back on today. However, Banjo isn't
the face of a huge mascot franchise in the same way as Crash and Spyro,
and his games never sold nearly as much. Considering post-Mario 64
platformers aren't very popular on this site, that's enough. Banjo is likely terrible fodder, sadly enough. At least Crash and Spyro were Sony mascots that were marketed around like nuts and had loads of games.
