Common Stats Topic Lingo Defined*~ SFF (Same Fanbase Factor) - Same Fanbase Factor is the theory that, if two contestants share a common fanbase, the weaker of the two options will underperform in a direct matchup. For instance, Link was expected to defeat Ganon with 65% of the vote in 2004, based on their 2003 values. Instead, Link collected near 88% of the vote. This is the best example of SFF we've ever seen. However take some SFF labels with a grain of salt, as many people will slap it onto any match that doesn't make perfect sense. Extrapolated Standings - The mathematical "strength" of a contestant that's determined based on their performance relative to the rest of the field. This number is typically based on the contest entrant's loss, but adjustments are sometimes made. See above for a watered down explanation for how the stats are calculated. |

Match LXX: (3) Creeper vs. (16) Wario vs. (25) The King of All Cosmos Previous Contest Creeper – N/A N/A Wario – 2008 33.09% against Zack Fair, Cecil Harvey and Jade Curtiss 10.60% against Link, Zack Fair and Zidane Tribal The King of All Cosmos – 2005 27.46% against Tidus Analysis I do not expect much out of Creeper, like I said with Steve Minecraft is just not that popular on GameFAQs despite being currently one of the most played games. I do feel Creeper will be stronger than Steve, he is one of the more popular and known enemies while Steve is just a user controlled avatar. Creeper is also more likely to get a joke rally. However considering how weak Steve turned out to be Creeper could be significantly stronger and I still do not see him matching up with Wario. Wario’s true strength is a bit of a mystery, if he is not getting SFF he is benefitting from LFF and then you have his 2003 match. Wario was able to break 40% against Zack and while Cecil was in that match it did show that he had some strength. I always expected him to rank around Peach’s strength. Mario characters have looked decent so far this contest with even Waluigi getting around 40% on Raiden before benefitting from a rally. The King was an internet meme back in 2005, but today the meme is not as popular. Katamari as a series has flourished since we last saw him, but I feel it will not match up with the strength he got for when it was a meme. The Prince of All Cosmos made an appearance for the 2007 contest and given how badly he performed then I do not see the King being much better today. The King will likely get some support so he will not have a terrible performance. There is a chance that Creeper could flop so badly that he finishes in third, but I do not feel he is that weak.
