This year truly is the redemption of the chokers.

Magus, Shadow, Kefka (if he counts as one), and now Tidus. Except for Master Choke, they've all done well. Watch out Lightning, DK's coming for you.

Donkey Kong can always be counted on to choke.

I'd have to go with Tidus. He'll massacre Missingno overnight... and will an old nostalgic Nintendo character even have much of a morning vote to recover? I doubt it.

Missingno. I'm not buying Tidus winning unless he keeps it to 200 or less. He ain't gonna benefit from the Total Domination Zone with these votals.

Will Tidus be able to take as much advantage of the night vote as Sephiroth did? Seph didn't start eviscerating Missingno until very late if I recall. If Missingno pushes this up over 300 I'd probably give it to 'em.

Missingno is going fare better with the night vote and morning vote compared to the match with Sephiroth. Missingno had very strong bandwagon trends against Sephiroth and had no where to go but collapse the entire match.

Looking at Red/Ocelot trends, Red was killing Ocelot all throughout the Power Hour, then slowed down a lot, then got murdered by the night vote. Tidus is very much still in this.

Missingno. up by exactly 150. A good sign for a Pokemon!

I dunno. There was always some mumbling about the possibility that Tidus could win because (and I think we can confirm it for certain with this barring Missingno rebounding majorly next round) that JOKE DROP is a real thing.

Makes me wonder how badly ? Block is going to flop. It shouldn't have the strength of Missingno, and Rikku is around Tidus's level.

I don't buy anything he's saying. It's someone trolling the stats topic by reading it and then confirming just about all of our potential theories, crazy or relevant. He basically just claimed to have stuffed every match with any sort of rally in it. I don't buy it for a second.

He didn't say anything about Alucard/Falcon, though.

Well, Kefka jumping out in front from the start probably helped. Tidus slowly catching up to Missingno and surpassing it will cause the reaction to be a bit more subdued, I guess.

Tidus will definitely start cutting once we're out of the Power Hour. He just needs to keep things within reasonable range until then.

For what it's worth, Red's lead peaked at 666, so given this match has about 40% the votals when you factor in Banjo votes, if Missingno hits 266 it'll be about the equivalent max lead.
