Tidus is a jerk --- xyzzy |
C'mon Tidus You've gotta have your Overdrive by now Bust out Slice and Dice --- "But you have been given freedom. Freedom to be...outside." "I am lightning...the rain transformed." |
LOLContests posted... This year truly is the redemption of the chokers. Donkey Kong can always be counted on to choke. --- http://img38.imageshack.us/img38/7760/222bj.jpg |
Let's say Missingno ends the Power Hour with a 300 vote lead. Who ya got? --- Black Turtle did a pretty good job. |
Gotta start slowing him down to prepare for that night vote, Tidus. These next couple of updates are gonna tell the tale. --- www.dudewheresmyfreedom.com Proud to share the same beliefs as SmartMuffin |
This is a world after DKCR. DK got this. --- tune in tokyo 142.94 |
KamikazePotato posted... Let's say Missingno ends the Power Hour with a 300 vote lead. Who ya got? I'd have to go with Tidus. He'll massacre Missingno overnight... and will an old nostalgic Nintendo character even have much of a morning vote to recover? I doubt it. --- http://i.imgur.com/lnKB0m9.jpg http://assets.sbnation.com/assets/1184880/davis-again.gif http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8118/8656607511_94178dbf2e_o.gif |
KamikazePotato posted... Let's say Missingno ends the Power Hour with a 300 vote lead. Who ya got? Missingno. I'm not buying Tidus winning unless he keeps it to 200 or less. He ain't gonna benefit from the Total Domination Zone with these votals. |
ZFS posted... This is a world after DKCR. DK got this. How do you even know these games exist I bow to your mastery --- www.dudewheresmyfreedom.com Proud to share the same beliefs as SmartMuffin |
Anything close probably favors Missingno due to vote stuff/rallying. --- tune in tokyo 142.94 |
It depends on how proactive Allen is in cutting votes! BRACKETZ won't let Missingno lose if it's close at the end, --- http://i.imgur.com/fe05x.png http://i.imgur.com/stNJf.png |
I can't believe the result of Missingno/Tidus is actually in doubt. This would be the biggest upset of the contest by far, right? --- www.dudewheresmyfreedom.com Proud to share the same beliefs as SmartMuffin |
Will Tidus be able to take as much advantage of the night vote as Sephiroth did? Seph didn't start eviscerating Missingno until very late if I recall. If Missingno pushes this up over 300 I'd probably give it to 'em. --- Die young and save yourself. Brace for the G's, and fast heel-toe work. |

Nah Seph just got better and better over the course of the match, FF7-style. --- www.dudewheresmyfreedom.com Proud to share the same beliefs as SmartMuffin |
Missingno isn't building this lead quickly enough. Unless there's a strong rally, Tidus is going to win the night vote. |
Banjo is getting ready to make his move. --- BOP Results: http://www.freewebs.com/charmander6000/CB9%20BOP.xls Points: 55/68 Today's Picks: Missingno and Wario |

This would be the biggest upset of the contest by far, right? i'm not sure if it's this or Kefka. i'd probably say this --- http://24.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_lxkdr0uNc91qlu5jao1_r1_400.gif |
Missingno
is going fare better with the night vote and morning vote compared to
the match with Sephiroth. Missingno had very strong bandwagon trends
against Sephiroth and had no where to go but collapse the entire match. --- Luster Soldier --- ~Shield Bearer~ | ~Data Analyst~ Popular at school, but not as cool as SuperNiceDog, Guru Champ! |
I
can't believe the result of Missingno/Tidus is actually in doubt. This
would be the biggest upset of the contest by far, right? Not really, given how jokes work the upset was possible --- BOP Results: http://www.freewebs.com/charmander6000/CB9%20BOP.xls Points: 55/68 Today's Picks: Missingno and Wario |
Looking
at Red/Ocelot trends, Red was killing Ocelot all throughout the Power
Hour, then slowed down a lot, then got murdered by the night vote. Tidus
is very much still in this. --- Black Turtle did a pretty good job. |
Tidus as an aspiring Blitzball I am ashamed of that update --- www.dudewheresmyfreedom.com Proud to share the same beliefs as SmartMuffin |
Missingno. up by exactly 150. A good sign for a Pokemon! |
I
dunno. There was always some mumbling about the possibility that Tidus
could win because (and I think we can confirm it for certain with this
barring Missingno rebounding majorly next round) that JOKE DROP is a
real thing. Makes me wonder how badly ? Block is going to flop. It shouldn't have the strength of Missingno, and Rikku is around Tidus's level. --- http://www.miscupload.com/upload/452457071929141623517416.gif |
Kefka
strikes me as more surprising, if only because I don't think many even
considered him for second. Tidus at least had some backers, and the
possibility Missingno wasn't a big deal anymore. --- tune in tokyo 142.94 |
TheOneAboveAll posted... I don't buy anything he's saying. It's someone trolling the stats topic by reading it and then confirming just about all of our potential theories, crazy or relevant. He basically just claimed to have stuffed every match with any sort of rally in it. I don't buy it for a second. He didn't say anything about Alucard/Falcon, though. --- RIP GrapefruitKing and Emporer_Kazbar. You will be missed. |
well,
speaking personally, despite picking Kefka for third i wasn't super
surprised to see him win. i had everyone in the low 30s for my oracle.
and Kefka had about as much Guru support as Tidus. --- http://24.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_lxkdr0uNc91qlu5jao1_r1_400.gif |
I have Tidus in my bracket! I'd never pick a pokemon over him! Sometimes it's about pride! --- Watch me play games! http://www.twitch.tv/lordofdabu |
Kefka
winning didn't totally blow me away like it did for a lot of people,
but the reaction to Kefka winning was much more extreme than this has
been so far. --- http://media.tumblr.com/tumblr_lo22vfguji1qzxr43.gif |
Oh, right How the hell is Missingno not able to crack 69% on Banjo --- www.dudewheresmyfreedom.com Proud to share the same beliefs as SmartMuffin |
Man I'm just realizing that at this point in Red/Ocelot Ocelot had almost as many votes as this entire match. These things have AWFUL votals now. --- http://i259.photobucket.com/albums/hh293/zukiraphaera/war-sig-1.png RIP Paul Bearer. Ohhhh nooooo. :( |
Yeah,
I even considered taking him to win, but ended going Zack because FFVII
always beats other FFs. Still, hard to top that after how both had done
before, and with Hayabusa as the third option. --- tune in tokyo 142.94 |
LeonhartFour posted... Kefka winning didn't totally blow me away like it did for a lot of people, but the reaction to Kefka winning was much more extreme than this has been so far. Tidus isn't winning... yet. Kefka made the match into a laugher from the beginning. --- www.dudewheresmyfreedom.com Proud to share the same beliefs as SmartMuffin |
From: LeonhartFour | Posted: 8/12/2013 12:28:47 AM | #435 Kefka winning didn't totally blow me away like it did for a lot of people, but the reaction to Kefka winning was much more extreme than this has been so far. probably because Kefka just no doubt won the poll immediately. i still wouldn't even call Tidus a favorite here. --- http://24.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_lxkdr0uNc91qlu5jao1_r1_400.gif |
I'm gonna laugh when Tidus has votes removed. --- http://i259.photobucket.com/albums/hh293/zukiraphaera/war-sig-1.png RIP Paul Bearer. Ohhhh nooooo. :( |
Well,
Kefka jumping out in front from the start probably helped. Tidus slowly
catching up to Missingno and surpassing it will cause the reaction to
be a bit more subdued, I guess. Tidus will definitely start cutting once we're out of the Power Hour. He just needs to keep things within reasonable range until then. --- "The great GF...Bahamut." "...GF? I...? Using my powers...It is you humans...I fear..." |
WarThaNemesis2 posted... Man I'm just realizing that at this point in Red/Ocelot Ocelot had almost as many votes as this entire match. this is why Tidus has to keep it close now, TDZ simply doesn't have as many votes as it used to (as does every other time frame, of course) |
Oh, right How the hell is Missingno not able to crack 69% on Banjo When it acts like a Sub-Zero and not a noble nine breaker. --- BOP Results: http://www.freewebs.com/charmander6000/CB9%20BOP.xls Points: 55/68 Today's Picks: Missingno and Wario |
I
could see Tidus being fueled by early anti-joke votes, too, and not
benefiting as much as he should from the Power Hour ending. That's a bit
of a stretch, but I could see it happening. --- www.dudewheresmyfreedom.com Proud to share the same beliefs as SmartMuffin |
bam 27 vote gain keep it up! |
Karma Hunter posted... I could see Tidus being fueled by early anti-joke votes, too, and not benefiting as much as he should from the Power Hour ending. That's a bit of a stretch, but I could see it happening. Missingno came pretty strong out of the gate and dropped hard after the first update. BRACKETZ probably kept people faithful to Missingno. --- "I can set you free, mate." "My freedom was forfeit long ago!" |
For
what it's worth, Red's lead peaked at 666, so given this match has
about 40% the votals when you factor in Banjo votes, if Missingno hits
266 it'll be about the equivalent max lead. --- http://i259.photobucket.com/albums/hh293/zukiraphaera/war-sig-1.png RIP Paul Bearer. Ohhhh nooooo. :( |
