-LusterSoldier- posted... Another vote stuffer in Germany. This time, it's Bayern: Possible, but if so, it's not huge. Ever since this stuffing started I've been opening multiple windows when checking updates. Here's one from about a half an hour ago: Bayern: Vivi 42.31% -- equals 11/26 Adam 23.08% -- equals 3/13, or 6/26 Marisa 34.62% -- equals 9/26 And more recent, right after you pointed this out: Vivi 31.08% -- equals 23/74 Adam 16.22% -- equals 6/37, or 12/74 Marisa 52.7% -- equals 39/74 Now go back to the "old" ones and double the totals, then compare with the new ones. 22/52 --> 23/74 12/52 --> 12/74 18/52 --> 39/74 Matches up perfectly, right? So there were 52 votes before, and 22 new votes came in--21 of them for Marisa and 1 for Vivi. A suspicious run to be sure, but ultimately just a drop in the bucket. She went on a miniature "late tear" in Iceland, too. In the one that was already close to the end of the match, the percentages pointed to Vivi 6 votes, Adam 3 votes, Marisa 4 votes. Come the update I was using after you pointed out the possible stuffing in Bayern, it was Vivi 6, Adam 3, Marisa 7. In the post-final update, it's Vivi 6, Adam 3, Marisa 14. So maybe at most a half an hour before the end of the match, the percentages pointed to there being 13 votes from Iceland, and by the end there were 23, and all 10 of those late votes--43.48% of the total votes!--went to Marisa. But it's still only 10 votes, and I can't imagine it would be easy to make it look like the numbers were that small if they were actually larger. --- RIP GrapefruitKing and Emporer_Kazbar. I still don't understand how it's possible to find the total number of votes just by percent I mean,if it was kinda like 25,50,25 then yeah.. 100/25 = 4,which would mean that 4 and multiplier of 4 can be the total vote numbers But something like... Vivi 39.09% Adam Jensen 12.73% Marisa Kirisame 48.18% How? |

believe there was some vote stuffing in Russia near the end of the last
match. At 11:50 AM, Marisa had 31.13% in Russia. She jumped all the

Yeah, it looks like MP3 wasn't worth anything to Max, so he's what I said... the worst of the worst fodder. Even worse than Guybrush.
The first Max Payne games were more in line with GameFAQs' tastes so he
could at least hang around as high fodder... unlike the McDuderism

sad thing is that I was SO READY to predict a Ganondorf upset this year
because I felt like he was weaker last year but everyone gave him the
excuse of "Oh but he had Bacondorf against Sonic!" But no we get this crappy setup! Oh well, I'll just have to settle for Vivi > Ganon in Expert. --- "So cold. I am always by your side." "There ain't no gettin' off of this train we on!" |

I still don't understand how it's possible to find the total number of votes just by percent There's probably a far more efficient way to do this, but I'm really tired so off the top of my head: Divide 100 by any one of those percentages, I'll take Jensen's because I think taking the smallest one will speed up the process but I'm not 100% sure. So 100/12.73 is approximately 7.86. Then keep taking multiples of 7.86 until you get something close to a whole number. 55.02 is pretty close so stop there and see if you can get the percentages to work with 55 total votes. I'll aim for Marisa's because just under half is easy. 26/55 gets you 47.27% and 27/55 gets you 49.09% so 55 is out. So keep going up on multiples of 7.86. Next close match is 110.04. So try again with 110. Same routine. 53/110 gets you 48.18% so there's Marisa's %. 43/110 gets you 39.09 so there's Vivi, and finally 14/110 gets you 12.73 and everything is good. So any multiple of 110 will work as a votal here. There's a few things I'm thinking just looking at that for shortcuts but I'm not totally sure on them and even then, I kind of feel like there has to be a better way. --- xp1337: Don't you wish there was a spell-checker that told you when you a word out?
