am all for Cloud myself.But it seems that Cloud can only win the
semifinal if only Pikachu is there.If Sora is there he loses because
there are 2 JRGP's characters.If Crono is there he loses for the same
reason.If Pika is there however he can advance since Pika will draw the

Can someone with such a poor record really be a character battle champion? L-Block definitely had some noteworthy 1vs1 wins before becoming character battle champion then. Remember how L-Block trounced that pathetic good for nothing Cloud in 2004, good time. --- The cycle of life and death continues. We will live. And they will die. |

Can someone with such a poor record really be a character battle champion? I think the fraud will be exposed horribly should he make the final 3. This contest isn' t 1-1 either! Snake's already shown himself capable of plenty shenanigans in threeways (didn't he beat Cloud in a threeway with Link? Can't find that match for the life of me though). Snake is also far more relevant today than Cloud or Link are; MGS5 looks absolutely amazing. Square is crumbling and LoZ is not the earth-shattering series it once was. MGS stands tall. Lastly, I don't think Sony has ever been as popular on this site as it is now, that can' t hurt Snake. --- Hail Solid Snake, our CBIX champion! |

It was a fourway in 2008 between Link/Cloud/Snake/Crono. Snake got a huge bandwagon early on but lost easily to Link, and by the second half of the match (his natural strength) he dropped thousands of votes to an LFF'd Cloud. Essentially, 2008 was Snake's strongest year (MGS4, Brawl) and he still got owned by Link and Cloud. The second paragraph is all a matter of personal perspective... I disagree with all of it myself, and I say that as a fan of the MGS series. --- Fine! I'll go to the store and get your Goddamn drain cleaner! Snake
is still the face of the series, so yeah MGS5 should help him. MGS3
probably helped Snake too, at least in preventing him from losing to
Bowser and allowing him to do as well against 2005 Mario as he did
against 2004 Mega Man. Eventually however, MGS fans will probably recognize Big Boss to be the face of the series, so I guess at that point Big Boss and Snake's strengths will switch around. Tails
probably gives Ezio a close match, and I wouldn't be surprised if he
outright wins. Mostly going off of Pac-Man giving Nathan Drake a good
fight, although Assassin's Creed is probably more popular than Uncharted
and Ezio is probably more photogenic than Drake. On a different topic, I suddenly get the feeling that Pyramid Head is going to upset Dragonborn. We've already seen two 25 seeds win anyway - why not a third? --- Currently Playing - Super Metroid, MGS4, Brawl, FFVII, Wind Waker, RE4, SOTC |

I didn't even think of this, I've always considered Snake's and Big Boss' strengths to be intertwined. They are clones after all. Seifer is doing better than I expected. He's a completely unlikeable, mostly non-playable character. Figured he would be lower. --- SuperNiceDog is also a SuperSmartDog. |
Are
we even sure of Tails>Bomberman? With low votals and a dedicated
fanbase, they could be close. They did put up similar numbers on Squall
and Auron back in the day. This match could honestly conceivably end in
any order. |

Match LVIII: (2) Ezio Auditore da Firenze vs. (17) Miles “Tails” Prower vs. (26) Bomberman Previous Contest Ezio Auditore da Firenze – 2010 59.71% against Simon Belmont 37.89% against Zelda Miles “Tails” Prower – 2010 39.02% against Kratos Bomberman – 2007 23.90% against Magus, Phoenix Wright and Crash Bandicoot Analysis I feel people are a bit too confident in this match. Ezio should win, but I get the sense that people expect him to steamroll the competition. While Altair seems noticeably weaker this contest Ezio may be able to avoid some of that drop as he appeared in a few things since 2010 and even though the series has moved to another character Ezio is still considered to be the favourite among fans. Tails had one of his more impressive matches when we last saw him doing well against a Kratos who had God of War III coming out. Personally I felt Tails over-performed in that match, but there really is no reason to believe so. Still a normal powered Tails would still be the favourite over Bomberman. Bomberman has shown in the past that he has some strength almost winning over Phoenix Wright, but that was back in 2007. Bomberman has not really had much since we last saw him and since he is not Pac-Man I do not see him retaining his old strength. If he is as strong as we last saw him I would give him a chance over Tails though. Ezio should win, but do not expect a blowout. While Tails may come close I do not see him threatening the upset. Denzo's big anti-Snake - not MGS - anything he says can be safely ignored. ("48% on Cloud? frauuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuud") The traditional Cloud/Sephiroth proportion lines up almost perfectly via Snake. And MGS3 boosted Snake significantly. People either don't know or don't care that the badass guy who's called 'Snake' the entire game and looks just like Snake isn't actually Solid Snake. Fun
as this was with the one-minute freeze, I think Tails has some great
early board love. I feel like at the first update Ezio will start
