This
makes me wonder how much of the so-called "Dissidia boost" was just the
site shifting back toward Old Square. I always found it ridiculous that
a PSP game could boost characters the way it seemed to. The only outlier is FF9 but most people consider it to fall more in-line with the classics than 7,8,10 anyway so it makes sense Zidane benefited too. --- Demyx is better than Axel. http://www.last.fm/user/crazydom |

Honestly
Celes's Amano Art is probably the best there is as far as Amano art
goes. She looks recognizable and not terrible. That's probably the

aside FF6 has such poor official art to work with. If it didn't say
Celes Chere she would just look like one of the many godawful Amano art

The only characters who can really be considered the "Main" characters are Terra and Celes... everyone else is just kinda there. Laguna
is a better choice than Zell probably just due to Dissidia, but after
today we really don't need more FF8 characters period. --- Black Turtle did a pretty good job. |

I wish I could say Cecil had a chance against Red (assuming Cecil makes it there), but Blue's performance was just ridiculous. Oddly
enough, a match with Knuckles/Seifer/Celes of all things has been what
sealed me picking Crono>Pikachu in my Oracle and expert next round. SNES+Square seems to be a winning combination these days. MegatokyoEd posted... Obviously this shows we need to get Edgar, Sabin and Shadow in. I used to say that FF6 Shadow would be the strongest character from that game. Obviously, this will no longer be true post-Dissidia, but back in the early days Shadow would have been a force. I think he would have be one of the early near-elites. feel like Celes doesn't necessarily go up much relative to Knuckles at
the end of the poll. Seifer's probably the main one to make strides.

how no one has mentioned Squall vs Missingno. I know Squall is half
Kingdom Hearts and has some insulation from this crap, but you'd figure
with the way we've seen new Square stink it up, someone would be getting
worried. Hell, if Microsoft hadn't shot itself in the foot (with a

Next
best FF6 rep is probably either Mog or Edgar but I don't think either
of them would be worth much. Edgar is probably about equal to Locke. Mog
probably rides being a moogle to stay ahead of them, but that's the only reason he might be worth anything at all IMO. I don't think we need anymore FF6 or FF8 reps after this!
