Rinoa
might very well end up being stronger than Seifer here. SFFed Rinoa put
up a better performance against Aerith than Seifer is putting up

Yeah,
all of a sudden, FFVI (sorry for alternating between Arabic and Roman
numerals) is one of my most anticipated games to see in a no-era games
contest. It was twice attached to Zelda games from its own era, but
against modern stuff, who knows how much Nintendo nostalgia it'll carry.

For
me, the deciding factor on switching to Celes was Kefka. If Kekfa
didn't go out and win that match I'd have stuck with Seifer. Decided to
go with my heart and take it as a sign that Old Square, or at least FF6,
is worth something. Well, enough of something to beat Seifer. Could

I
do like how my alt is #8 on the Expert Leaderboard, it's like whenever I
think it's gonna be off due to a 0 point match, it comes back to a much

This
is not looking good for Aerith, Rinoa still got 31.33% on her with SFF
while Seifer has 28.23% on Knuckles. I guess Celes could be getting some

I think Zack/Kefka showed that new school and old school SFF don't
really split like that. Unless you think Hayabusa gets doubled by
Kefka. I think Seifer and Celes are going about as well as you'd expect

Man, Knuckles barely beat Cecil in a day match - forget Aeris, a part of me was nervous taking Knuckles to win in THIS match. Great job from Knux, by the way. betting Quistis, Irvine and Selphie would look just as bad too and maybe

As
far as Locke goes, perhaps there's a little bit of overlap between FF6
and Earthbound, and Ness outbid him with Smash/Nintendo support. Locke against some new school characters might actually be a decent trap. --- Agent Triple Zero at your service! The artist formerly known as greatone10. |
Hayabusa is not the embodiment of consistency here. Kefka and Zack undoubtedly hurt each other, no doubt in my mind. But "get doubled by Kefka" weak? Even as Arabusa he never looked that weak. I doubt they hurt each other much. Maybe trace amounts but... assuming a similar split here I don't think Knuckles would be in trouble vs Celes. Seifer's votes maybe go 60-40 to Celes? --- No problem! This is a cute and pop genocide of love! |

The
problem with Locke is he just isn't that important of a character in an
ensemble cast. The only characters who can really be considered the
"Main" characters are Terra and Celes... everyone else is just kinda
there. And when you're dealing with just another character out of 14 or

The
