know this match would be more popular with characters named crono and
pikachu, but polls like this make the tournament so fun to follow while

It's tough for Link to score a tripling against people worth a damn nowadays. He couldn't even get a tripling against Isaac (Binding) and SFFed Tingle. Not that I think that was a genuine suggestion, but people should be very aware that Link's more vulnerable now. If this was Missingno's contest debut I might've put him as our contest winner, but I feel he'll probably be weaker like L Block was (then again, Missingno didn't actually win, so there's that threat...). --- www.dudewheresmyfreedom.com Proud to share the same beliefs as SmartMuffin |

if Vesperia and Persona 3/4 had much higher playrates their characters
would probably be quite strong, especially Yuri Lowell who is an

should be noted that while Link is not going to smite fodder and
midcarders as beautifully as he used to (and I'm not sure if he was ever
truly the best at smiting fodder), he did give Sonic and Mario
terrible beatdowns in 2010. I think he's only vulnerable to the random
character on rally steroids, and he's already lost to one of those, so
he was never invulnerable there. The rest of the "normal" field is still

The rest of the "normal" field is still as far back as they ever were. His SFF beatdowns are... SFF beatdowns. What Link's SFF power does is just take a large amount of the field out of play, and the field that is in play has for the large part weakened dramatically (Cloud, Sephiroth). If Link was getting these kinds of antivotes in 2004 or 2005 he'd have easily lost to Cloud. Cloud is just so much weaker from then that it hardly matters. I mean if I thought Mario was truly going to be able to hold Link back significantly I'd have taken Snake with nary a thought. He even did outdid Link's projection on Golden Sun Isaac! Catherine
fans are more loyal, as soon as she is in danger of losing her lead
they go rally some more. This essentially makes her the favourite to win
