Well that certainly changed in the past few hours. Makes me wonder how Vincent Brooks would do instead, since Catherine is a represent of the whole game itself. Very
difficult for ensemble casts from niche games to get winnable draws. Yu
could certainly have got through a couple of fodder packs though, I'll
say that. Persona 3/4 (esp. 4) have better chances in a games contest of

Match LVII: (9) Knuckles the Echidna vs. (10) Seifer Almasy vs. (19) Celes Chere Previous Contest Knuckles the Echidna 2010 52.00% against Cecil Harvey 32.39% against Sonic the Hedgehog Seifer Almasy N/A N/A Celes Chere 2006 38.92% against The Boss Analysis It took this long to get another Final Fantasy VIII character and both characters got screwed with bracket placement. I do not think Seifer would have been able to compete with Knuckles, but I would imagine some people would bite the upset. I feel Knuckles is too strong to be threatened here, we do not know his true strength due to Cecil getting a Dissidia boost and Knuckles being fed to Sonic, but he has never really shown to be weak. I never felt Seifer or any of the Final Fantasy VIII characters had strength. Sure they could be a Final Fantasy VII or Pokemon waiting to happen and given Rinoa was fed to Aerith we still do not know their true strength. Rinoa did hold up against Aerith relatively well and while Final Fantasy VII has been disappointing overall I do think it shows that Final Fantasy VIII characters are not total weaklings. I do not expect Celes to have much strength, she did not look that great back in 2006 and while Terra and Kefka performed well that was due to Dissidia. She is probably closer to Locke who was easily beaten by Ness. Ignoring SFF in Aerith/Rinoa and with an Aerith drop Rinoa would have a good chance at winning over Locke. Seifer should have no problem placing in second unless he really flops relative to Rinoa. Knuckles has a good chance to over-perform with two Square characters and we have not seen him in a fair match in a long time. I don't even know if Charizard can make it anymore. I guess we'll have
to see how Mega Man performs but if he's boosted he might be able to

The problem is that the seeding is all over the place. There's plenty of strong stuff in the 13-18 seeds while there's fodder like Neku, Lenneth, and Tharja as 5-6 seeds. 27 seeds contain joke characters with rally potential while 8 seeds are some of the weakest fodder ever. --- If you believe in the Lord FE7 and you accept FE7 as the Savior of video games and are 100% proud of it, put this in your sig. |

Yu beating Altair probably isn't happening either (technically the 3 seed in that matchup is Shulk). Marston, hahahahaha no Yu isn't beating Zelda.
